That's AWESOME! I needed to hear that. I'm in the same boat but at around 285lbs. I exercise a lot but the weight doesn't come off. I really need to focus on what I put in my mouth. Thanks for sharing and the motivation!

You're in for a fun run if I remember right. It's a hilly course for the 10miler. Have fun!

I found a Cycleop fluid trainer on craigslist for $150. It works great and would recommend it to anyone. It will improve your cycling for sure. I tend to coase a bit outdoors but on a trainer you don't get that. I would look for a use fluid trainer oppose to a wind or magnetic. I have heard that cycleops and kenetic. Hope…

I own a bodymedia. How do others do it, do you track in both places? Any help appreciated

I have the Garmin 310 and love it. I like it over other Garmin units because of battery life (~20hrs). Some of the other models like the 410 only last ~7hrs. I do bigger events and need the extra time.

Hey Everyone, new here and just getting started. Want to do two half Ironmans next year (Muncie & Steelhead). Currently 276lbs and want to get down to around 220lbs. If (When) I get down to my goal, I want to signup for Ironman Wisconsin for 2013. Are there any heavy guys in this group?
