    3 miles on stairmaster/ergonometer (I'm SLOWLY building up stamina on the damned thing!), and 7 miles stationary bike

    Cumulative Totals:
    Running/Walking- 26.9
    Biking - 63.3
    Swimming- 7.94 miles

    My goals:
    Running/ Walking 22 miles (+- 6 hours) [GOAL MET!]
    Biking 73 miles (+- 6 hours)
    Swimming 8.5 miles (+- 6 hours)

    I just stumbled upon this challenge, and it seems so cool. Love to join! I completed my first sprint triathlon in Oct, and loved it. I am looking to sign up for at least 3 events next year.

    My stats so far this month

    swimming 1.42 miles (motivation to the pool decreases with cold weather)
    cycling 156 miles (spinning and outside when the weather favorable for a ride)
    walk jog 16 miles (slow this month as I have been developing shin splints as I transition into running)

    I hadn't really set goals for the month, and given there is only a week left, I'll work towards the traditional ironman numbers. I'll keep logging my stats and set personal goals if the challenge continues in December

    Run: 13.0M (Calf injury, so mileage is low)

    Did you just start running? I have been running for a few years and had to start slowly, too. You can avoid shin splints by stretching after your run and by using the mid-foot strike. Don't run on the balls of your feet. I hope that helps, nice work this month!!

    11/11/22 - Again, HIIT with running intervals. Just counted the run which is 1 mile.
    11/11/23 - 3.5 mile run. Pool is cancelled tonight so no swim :( I just can't bring myself to get on the bike trainer.

    Totals -
    Swim - 2 miles
    Bike - 15 miles
    Run - 41 miles

    Goal - Ironman

    Thanks Giving morning run. Cold and dreary. I stopped 1/2M from home and bought sodas for the wife and kids. Turns out when I got home my wife has already been hitting the mimosas. Oh well. Soda for me. (Followed by mimosas! I gotta catch up!)

    Did a short 10 minute warm up on the bike tonight -2 miles.
    Finally made it back to the pool - the workout was a ton of kicking laps which killed my time, only got .75 mile in.
    Totals -
    Swim - 2.75 miles
    Bike - 17 miles (sad)
    Run - 41 miles

    Goal - Ironman

    So life very much got in the way and the workouts over the last two weeks have been at a bare minimum. But, not letting it hold me back, going to jump right back in and finish the end of November off in style - will have to try to get in some outdoor workouts as my in-laws are coming to stay a couple of days and my "gym" is in the spare room where they will be!! Oh well.... I may not hit my ironman goals but I know that each month that goes by, I will strive to be faster, stronger, and fitter. Thanks to everyone who keeps me motivated and gives so much of themselves to give support to everyone.

    As of today, Nov 26, I am at:
    Swim: 3.9km (out of 4km)
    Bike: 49.5km (out of 180km)
    Run/Walk: 17.1km (out of 42km)
