  • I like the laughing cow light triangle cheeses, sometimes with a few soup or oyster crackers, or baby carrots, or celery. I like a small piece of cold salmon with one of those little cheeses and with or without crackers. I too like savory! Or sometimes even an ounce or two of roasted chicken from the grocery store,…
  • I want to say a thank you to the responders that jumped in saying they understood what I was trying to say. It feels good when someone gets it!! :)) It's the whole reason I posted about it.. I just wanted to share that it doesn't have to be a negative feeling, and for those of us who associate these types of lifestyle…
  • Totally agree! :))
  • I think my point was more regarding the perspective shift. from negative and fearful, to positive and hopeful. I wasn't advocating "wallowing" I agree that's not the way to go about it. But for someone who has misused food, even portion changes can be depressing at first.
  • Well, I don't, anymore. But there have been times I have. I figured lots of people did. But maybe I'm wrong about that. I thought that's what held me back from doing this sooner, not wanting that deprivation. If it was so simple, and easy, I would have done it a long time ago. But I guess I had to progress to the point…
  • I've been over 100lbs overweight, and I've had surgery, which I teamed with doing MFP type site before I was on here, and honestly, the surgery does speed it up a bit at first, but at the end of the day, it's counting that gets you and keeps you to your goals. I went through a very stressful time, I quit counting, and then…
  • I'm in the same bad back/hip issues boat. I like using the ball too, and will look into the foam roller and doing more weights. I am starting from the ground up as far as being an exerciser goes. Thanks for asking this question!
  • Please, anyone who's willing, add me too, I am recommitting today. 1200. Let's do this.. wool!
  • I loved reading your story, i love your writing voice and I especially loved reading how you described the difference of how you lost weight last time but never lost the panic as opposed to things clicking for you this time.. I too have been up and down, but feel a different sort of peace this time, and am interested in…
  • I would agree yours are good questions! I had very similar concerns re belly button and incision placement. One thing I never did however was my arms, yours look so good in your pic! I had heard that the recovery is hard for the arms and so never did mine. Would you do it again?
  • Very excited for you! Congratulations and best wishes! You'll do great! Jitters are normal with a situation like this, but you are taking your health into your own hands. It's alll good! :)
  • Yay! That's such a great feeling! :) Good job!
  • Welcome! I need buddies too :) I am loving this site.. I've used a similar site before but this is so much better, I think we're going to do well here! Best wishes!
  • Roni, you can do this. It's hugely motivating seeing all the tickers under the names of so many who have lost so much weight with the help of this site. I am only on here less than a week, and I feel so much better mentally already, just to be on the right path. Add me as a friend if you would like to support each other.…
  • Welcome! I'm new here too, just a few days but it's already been a Godsend. Good luck with everything, feel free to friend me or message me and we can support each other, I have about the same amount to lose. :)
