Thank you so much!

I also got a food scale it helps so much! I can't believe how small serving sizes really are.

Had a big problem when I didn't bring any snacks for morning or afternoon hunger pains. I would eat junk sitting around the office like candy and gummy bears. Started doing some planning and so far it is helping.

I have done zumba for almost 2 years. I love the class! it's so fun and a great way to let loose and it burns lots of calories.

Trying to get on track. I need buddies. :)

I just got his book today. Was hoping to have more numbers as to how many carbs there are for high/low days. I don't want to overdo or undereat. Is this in the book, didn't seem so after i skimmed through it for now.

Colonoscopies are so important! I have UC. It has been four years since my first and only one. Scheduled to go in again on Oct 30th as I have been very anemic and they think something is going on inside bleeding or what not. Hope and pray I don't have colon cancer, but it is always a possibility.

When you are in your exercise class and people sit there talking while the instructor is conducting her class. I find it incredibly rude. You are there to work. chat after class!!

Sometimes I push through soreness because for me, exercise actually alleviates the aches and pains caused by...exercise. I am doing a half marathon in 2 days. I plan to work out again tonight and take tomorrow off for the big day.

I have a polar ft4 and I would go with that.

I have the same weight loss goal and am 5'0 tall. Last 10 or so keep getting stuck at! need motivation! please add me. :D

I faced the same dilemma yesterday. I ended up having the chocolate cake and it was soooo good! I work hard everyday at staying healthy. I indulge when I want, but I get back on track as soon as possible. One piece of cake did not make me gain weight anymore than one day of exercise made me lose weight. It's a continuous…

To prove that having a chronic illness does not mean that it has to have me.

I took a body pump class and was sore for days. It was crazy! I might give it another try in the future, but for now, it was just too much for me.

I have a polar ft4. It has a chest strap that I wear under my clothes. I have used it for months now and actually feel naked without it during my workout! it is not uncomfortable at all and you forget it is there.

I eat back all of my exercise calories and try to Net at least 1200 a day. I'm 5'0 tall and my scale is being stubborn again. :)

Nope. I am doing the monument marathon in Nebraska.

I am doing my first half marathon as well on Oct 13. I got talked into it by my coworker and now I don't know what's going to happen. I do not have any training under my belt other than the fitness classes/walks I usually do several days a week. My goal is to finish. My time will suck, but I will finish. I would be…

Thanks! Look forward to it. :)

I have a polar ft4 as well. Got it about a month or so ago and love it. It has a comfortable chest strap and i really forget I'm even wearing it during my workouts. I don't leave home without it now.

If I want a treat, I will have one. I just work it into my daily calories.
-
Don't let anyone get you down! Sometimes in order to grow, we have to get out of our comfort zone. Weights used to scare me too, but now I'm taking a class entirely dedicated to it and am ready to move forward. Show them what you are made of! :)

I've been trying to lose 15 lbs for over 2 months. Cut off your leg or another limb. you can not safely lose that much weight in such little time.
-
If you can't move, then you need to give your body a rest for a day or two. It takes time to get into a new fitness routine. I still get sore and I have been exercising for years. I like to switch it up all the time.

Believe me it is faster to gain weight than lose it. I am a little more than 10 lbs away from my goal weight and it gets harder. I would love to lose 2 lbs a week and get their faster, but it is not to be. Aim for 1/2 lb to 1 lb a week. It's a healthier weight loss and it takes time, but it more apt to stay off that way.
