Frustration was huge for me in this journey. Along with making a commitment to better my health, I also went through a messy divorce and was in graduate school full time. I was frustrated with everything: not having enough time to work out, get healthy food at the grocery store; upset that at 28 I was so ridiculously…

Definitely on the day shift now! Ha! The biggest tip for me was to have an in person accountability partner. I cannot tell you how MUCH that helped me. There were days that I hated having that person - especially when they would point out that I hadn't exercised, I had gotten off track, etc. But, at the same time they were…

Hey darlin! Looks like you are off to a great start! Swimming is a great calorie burner and also helps with toning as well! Walking is always good. As far as biking when I started getting on a bike was out of the question! I got a type of stationary bike that was just the pedals. I could sit on the couch and pedal away or…

I'm with Savage on this one -- classes are a blast! Love ones that incorporate some type of dance! Also really enjoy any piece of equipment in the cardio theater room -- pitch black with treadmills, ellipticals stair steppers and bikes -- with a huge movie screen playing movies all day! Makes cardio so much more enjoyable…

You can try the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred for free on YouTube.. They have all three levels! That's how I usually do her workouts. A girl at work is making a copy of the Insanity videos for me -- excited to try them!

Bolthouse Farms Yogurt dressing found in the refrigerator section. Range from 35 to 40 calories per serving with flavors like: ranch, blue cheese and parmigiano caesar. Pretty tasty!

Oh just say this -- I'll see if I can incorporate more throughout the rest of the week :) Monday - 4 Tuesday - 1 Running total: 5 (Are we counting tomatoes as a fruit or a veggie?) if tomatoes count then total would be 7 :)

Keep at it!! It sounds like you have started doing some great things this past week!! Don't let the scale deter you from continuing to better yourself. There are quite a few things which might help to explain the slight gain -- one especially being your TOM. Keep your chin up! I've found that measuring using a tape measure…

I do the same thing! I want to surround myself with people that understand the struggles of losing weight but that also understand things like being excited when a airplane lap belt fits!!!

Hey y'all!! My name is Michelle. A few years ago I weighed 207 and never realized how great that was!! Three years have elapsed and I practically doubled my weight! One step at a time!!! I'm down about 34 lbs - still have a long way to go but am excited about what the future holds! Looking for some extra support and…

Hey y'all!!! I'm 28 started at 366 and down a touch over 30lbs. I would be ecstatic if the number on the scale started with a 1! (199.9 would make me happy!!) Just looking for a bit of support as I tackle this journey! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
