You could always do P90X. I did 30DS as well as another workout w/ Jillian Michaels. I'm not impressed by her training style at all, so I personally didn't stick with it for too long. But I have been very impressed with the beachbody products so far. But if you love Jillian, there's certainly nothing wrong w/ just…

I have no idea, but that's really interesting! I'd probably just do half and work up to the full serving size or something. I use either chocolate milk or Accelerade for my recovery drink, mostly because it's so much cheaper than the P90X version.

I found it interesting that the people who replied are extremely active. Not everyone is that active, so don't feel bad if you aren't making it to the gym every day. The way that I see it is if you are increasing your activity level, you are on the right track. Personally, I have only been working out consistently…

Cold turkey is one way, but you might not like that suggestion. I grew up eating a dessert every day when I lived at home. My husband broke me of that habit by simply refusing to buy junk. If you are used to having dessert after dinner, substitute it with yogurt or fruit. Also, I've read that eating a very small amount…

Ditto everything you said.

Definitely make sure that you warm up well before you get started. Also, try doing them on your knees, not going as low, using push-up stands, and definitely stop when it hurts!

That's the exact reason why my husband and I decided to try P90X too. It is SO much less expensive than a gym membership!! Not only that, but we both love it, and it's something that we can do together in our own home. I know how hard it is having kids and expenses, but also wanting to take care of yourself at the same…

I had that happen to me too when I used my older HRM. It would beep at me constantly. The best thing that I would suggest (and what I do) is to listen to your body while you are working out. If you are winded and working hard, that's pretty normal. If you are dizzy, nauseous, or are having a hard time breathing, you need…

I haven't done Turbo Jam, but I have friends who are doing it, and I'm on Turbo Fire/P90X right now. I think you could do Turbo Jam. Just pace yourself and take breaks. You'll be there before you know it!

I do the exact same thing. I write notes about what to watch for, what I did well, etc. I have thought about making my diary public, but I think I'd be less inclined to be as open and honest.

Great work!! I love how your daughter is in some of them posing and smiling right along with you!

Your posture has improved SO much! You have an absolutely beautiful face, and you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work! :flowerforyou:

I posted the schedule that I'm using for P90X/Turbo Fire hybrid on my blog: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/staclo/view/p90x-turbo-fire-hybrid-schedule-114152. Check it out and tell me what you think!

Today was Fire 45/Stretch 10. Great workout! I am interested in what others are doing. Let me know how your workouts are going!
-
It's one that I modified from something I found on beachbody. I'll try to find a way to post it.

I did Day 1 of P90X/TF hybrid today. It was Chest and Back and ARX. I haven't been that wiped in a while! Tomorrow is Fire 45/Stretch 10 for me.

I've heard of quite a few people doing that. How do you like it so far? Feel free to join in!
-
Sounds good!

I'm starting P90X/Turbo Fire hybrid on Monday. I'm happy to join in.

Here's the schedule that I'm going to use: http://www.beachbody.com/text/p90x_microsite/worksheets/print-p90xtf-worksheets.html. I was excited to see that beachbody already had one available. I'm glad that you're going to join me!

That would be great! I'd love the support, if you're willing to offer it. I did P90X 2 summers ago, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into it again.

I do high-impact aerobics and I just got some Asics cross-trainers. They are very supportive. I really like them so far.

I just asked the guy at Playmakers about them yesterday. He happens to have majored in some kind of science something or other and wants to go into shoe design for a full-time job. He said that they force you to tighten your core when you walk and work on posture, but they have absolutely zero support, and most people end…

I'm just ending my 4th week, and I'm still getting the hang of some of the moves too. It takes a little while, but once you start getting them down, you can work on intensity and not worry about the moves anymore. I love Fire 55!
-
Welcome to our group! I haven't done Fire 60 yet, but I love 45 and 55. That's really funny about that song.

I wasn't sure that I wanted to weigh-in this morning because I started AF and I feel bloated and icky. But I still lost 2 lbs this week! That's 7 lbs in 4 weeks. Not too bad. I'm also doing measurements and pictures, but I am going to wait until a little later to do that.

I changed things up a bit. I LOVE the Fire and HIIT workouts, but I'm not crazy about the Stretch, Tone, or Core ones yet. I might get into them at some point. Anyway, I did Fire 30, Stretch 10 and Ab Ripper X instead of Core 20. It was a kick-butt workout! I feel great! Hey... great job everyone!
