  • I should have it today...I plan on starting it on Monday..feel free to add me,
  • To add to my post, keep in mind that I burn anywhere between 600-900 calories per day for my workouts and I don't eat back all of my exercise calories because I will gain weight.
  • I'm 35, 5'3 and have been maintaining at 125lbs for 1 yr. for maintenance I eat between 2300-2500 calories....for weight loss I was eating between 2000-2200. I exercise 6 days per week anywhere between 1.5-2 hrs. I'm also a personal trainer and group fitness instructor so aside from my own personal workouts, I also teach…
  • I pushed play for 95 minutes and burned 726 calories by doing Asylum vol 1 strength and Insanity Fast & Furious!!
  • Its based on BPM! If you have a heart rate monitor, you can wear it at night over the course of 5-7 nights and first thing when you wake up in the morning look at the watch and see what your heart rate is. OR when you are at work you can wear it and just sit quietly at your desk for a few minutes and track your numbers…
  • If you like Insanity you should try Asylum!!! Shaun T ROCKS!!
  • It really depends on how fit you are! The fitter you are the lower your resting heart rate will be. The average for females is anywhere between 70-75. But again it depends on how fit you are. the last time I checked, my resting heart rate was between 52-55bpm.
  • Im definitely not a newlywed since Ive been married for 5 years now but when I got married I was 171 lbs. But my heaviest weight was 200 lbs when I was younger (about 19-20). Anyway, I had to lose some weight in order to fit back into my wedding dress. After we got back from our honeymoon I continued my weight loss journey…
  • Working out 5-6 days per week (how long are your workout sessions??) and eating between 1200-1500 or less calories would definitely drive anyone to start binge eating because you are hungry. And when you are not fueling your body properly what is happening is when you DO eat your brain cannot seem to shut off the fact that…
  • I recommend a total body workout that incorporates both cardio and strength training all in one workout. Choose exercises that are also going to target your abs such as pushups, plank ab holds, plank walk ups, etc. You must also concentrate on what you are eating. Even if you are on point with your workouts, if you arent…
  • Hey guys! Im about 5'3 and I am currently maintaining my weight at 124. My heaviest weight was 200 lbs so I can definitely understand the challenge of trying to lose weight and especially losing the weight when you are short. I know for me if I gain even 5 lbs, I can see it because Im short and it really doesnt have…
  • I agree with the above post.
  • Congrats on the baby and congrats on deciding to start your weight loss journey. I have pictures posted on my profile but I can tell you that I used to weigh 200 lbs and I wasnt even pregnant so I have no excuse. lol. I was very depressed and unhappy with myself and decided to finally stop complaining about do something…
  • Hey guys! Feel free to add me for support and motivation. I have been where you guys are and even though its not going to be easy, it will be well worth it in the end. Never give up and always look toward your goals and dont let anything or anyone get in the way of you accomplishing what you know you can do!
  • I use Tide Frebreeze that is strictly for workout clothes.
  • Hi. I am a new mom to a 2 year old boy and my heaviest weight was 200 lbs and I wasnt even pregnant so I cant use that as an excuse. lol. At any rate, I am currently maintaining my weight and have done programs such as Insanity, p90X, Asylum Vol 1 and I am currently on my 2nd round of Asylum Vol 2. I am also a Certified…
  • I'm ACE certified. Both organizations are accredited and very reputable organizations. I believe that NASM's certification test is slightly more difficult than ACE but I think that's the only difference. I went with ACE because my trainer who was my mentor was ACE Certified.
  • I eat alot of chicken!!!
  • I still plan on tracking everything I eat on Thanksgiving Day. Of course for Thanksgiving Dinner I will have to estimate how many calories I ate so I will add it as "Quick Add Calories" and overestimate how many calories it was and then in my food notes section I will write exactly what I ate: ie. sweet potato, turkey,…
  • I am much older than you but started my weight loss journey when I was 19-20. I handle holidays just like its any other day. I wake up early and do my workouts as I would on any other normal day...I plan on eating the same breakfast as I do on any other normal day and when it comes to Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner I…
  • I completed Asylum Vol 1 and them did a hybrid of Insanity/asylum vol 1! I just completed my 3rd day of Asylum vol 2 and I love it! I loved vol 1 and I'm loving vol 2! It will kick your butt but its worth it. I have youtube videos posted. Check it out! My username is blue197833
  • I finished Asylum and then did a hybrid of Insanity/Asylum...I will be starting Asylum vol 2 on Monday!!
  • I think it all depends on your fitness level and what you body can handle. I did a hybrid of Insanity and Asylum, while training for 2 half marathons. Insanity yes is cardio based but you are doing a ton of exercises that also require you to hold up your body weight. I don't think you will lose strength; if anything I…
  • I also posted this on another thread related to this same topic! Here goes: I feel like she was being bullied simply because of her weight! If her weight has no impact on how she does her job, who cares? If she dresses appropriately and is professional in providing information to viewers, who cares how much she weighs? If…
  • I agree with the other post about possibly changing your routine! Sometimes especially if you are doing the same workout over and over again, your body will get used to it and eventually you will plateau because your body knows what to expect. Depending on what you are doing for your workouts, maybe step it up a notch or…
  • Hey there! I am 5'3 and maintaining my weight at 125! My heaviest weight was 200 lbs (that was years ago). The advice I would give is just to set small, realistic and attainable goals and know that if you stick to the program, you will see results. Its just going to take some time and remember usually the closer you are to…
  • Ive been working in gym as fitness staff for years and have so many stories: 1. A woman crapped in her pants while walking on the treadmill and when we approached her about it, she refused to get off the treadmill. There was actually crap on the treadmill. 2. A member came to the front desk complaining about 2 women that…
