Those sound like reasonably healthy weights, if not underweight for your height. I would look for some help. Is there a reason you are trying to get to 123?

I had our 4th (and 4th c section) 4 months ago. I have just in the last week really started to do anything about the 25 lbs I gained. I am a SAHM also. I try to use the 15 minute naps the baby takes to do some of the videos on hulu.

I use nuts more for the crunch, they have some protein but I really only eat them cause I like them and they are better than chips or crackers. Cottage Cheese and Greek yogurt are my go to non meat non shake proteins

5'3 SW 283 Lowest 159 CW 180 (I just had a baby) GW 145, I think. If I feel great before that then thats good too. I try to stay around 1200 calories a day and do as much exercise as I can while baby sleeps in 15 minute increments. It's hard but even little bits help I would like my summer clothes to fit so I am hoping to…

Yes to the pool! Check out the water aerobics, I am just a little older than you and even now when I go I am the youngest there by a couple decades. I also kind of like the shorter skirted suits, not the ones that go to the knees or anything.

I put a couple of drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil in my water. I would try those other drops again if they took out the artificial coloring. The Powerade ones are my favorite!

You probably don't have a deficit. Are you weighing and measuring everything?
-
I usually prelog the day before in bed. I like to have the planning part all done. It makes it easier for me to stick with it.

I love mt ft4, it keeps me motivated during workouts and to keep doing them because I get an accurate read on calorie burn. Not saying don't listen to your mom. she can give you her opinion and then you choose what to do with it :)

Have you had labs done? Any change in medication, thyroid, pregnancy?

Me too! 38 to go to goal. I don't have a deadline. Just would rather it be sooner than later :)

I have 3, 7,5 and 2 and I put light activity.. cause I would rather be under than over ;)

2lb per week for about 10 months. 86 pounds so far

I have days like that every couple weeks, I make a big protein shake and get in the bath with a book, its way to far from the kitchen to make it worth it ;)
-
I weigh every morning and every night (I like to prep for the let down if it's high at night lol) and measure inches once a month. As long as I dont let the number on the scale determine how my day goes I dont see a problem with it

its absolutely not a cure for being overweight, but it gives lots of people the HOPE they need to take the next steps if they are obese, going to the gym probably isnt something they are comfortable with. Diet does NOT work for everyone, epecially if they have been dieting their entire lives and have screwed up their…

It took me a few days also, maybe even up to 2 weeks. But everyday was better and better. She didn't say she was going NO carb, she said under 50.

I had PCOS also. Low Carb was the only version on restriction with exercise that made a difference. Good luck!

I seriously doubt those calories are accurate, you might want to consider getting a HRM so you aren't over guessing your calories out. I do Zumba (intense) and use a HRM, even on an ALL Pitbull night (super intense) in 1 hour the most I have ever burned is around 800.

Everyday, slave to the scale :/

great question, and I haven't ever found anything that makes sense to me either as far as a defecit and where it comes from. Hope there are some good answers

I'm 5'3" and I think my goal is 145 ish, I am at 176 right now, and I have lost 107 pounds already. I have no idea though on the specific number. When I get there and feel good and don't have to spend everyday at the gym and obsessing over every bite, and not gain, then I will be at goal :)
