  • Starving does not mean you are feeling hungry...it means your body isn't getting the nutrients it needs....which it won't be just eating apples. Apples are great healthy foods but they do not provide the range of nutrients your body needs.
  • L2D8 done...and I can see my oblique muscles..all that abs work paying off!
  • I'm switching to maintenance at the end of this week as I'm having major abdominal surgery next week.I am used to eating back loads of exercise calories too...it's going to be hard and I may end up back where I started by the time I can exercise again
  • L2D7 done, definitely improving. Shame I won't be able to go onto level 3 :grumble:
  • L2D6 done
  • L2D5 done :-)
  • day 3 done...managed without any breaks though still doing some modified moves.
  • L2 D2 done.Had to have 3 days rest because of a neck spasm and I think it actually helped...needed fewer breaks.
  • I am a similar height and weight to you and do alot of exercise. On days when I burn around 1000 calories I would definitely be eating over 2000 calories. MFP has me set to a base of 1200 but as there are no days when I do not do some form of exercise I am eating more than that.Have lost 4 pounds over 3 weeks or so and…
  • Not able to do day 2 today as I've done something to my neck :- ( Hoping the spasm goes by tomorrow as I know I'll not bother if I have too long a break. Not going to be able to finish the full 30 days anyhow as having abdominal surgery in 2 weeks so motivation is slipping a bit.
  • Day 1 done today. What a difference from level1!!! Far too many moves involving planks for my liking ...my shoulders were definitely complaining by the end. Found myself looking forward to the situps so I could lie down.
  • L1 D10 done, followed straight away by L2 D1......not sure that was a great idea!
  • L1 D8 done..managed 2 (very wobbly!!) proper pushups so that's progress.I'm taking longer than the 10 days to do this as having to have rest days. Unplanned rest day yesterday as I was so tired...possibly overdid it the day before with 6 mile walk, 6 mile run and shred!!
  • L1D7. Could do this in my sleep now,I know exactly what she's going to say and when. Still not sure I'd be ready for L2 yet so will do the last few days and then step up.
  • Day 6 level one done.First time I was able to do all the squat and press without resting my arms!!
  • Definately the squat and shoulder press. My arms are so weak when I have to take them over my head...only using 1.5kg weights and still have to drop my arms for about 5 squats during the 2nd set. The (modified) push ups are definately getting easier though :-)
  • Level 1, day 4 done.Still finding squat press hard but having to pause for a shorter time now.
  • Started on Monday.Do lots of running already but very little strength stuff. Due to do day 4 later today and already felt myself wavering so finding this thread and joining the group has motivated me! Have tried a few times before but never completed it.Hoping I'll manage the 1st circuit of strength exercises without…
  • Can't see them either
  • I picked an achievable target, when I get there I'll pick another one...baby steps!
  • Bit confused here, maybe you can help me out (should probably be able to work it out but am post migraine!) I'm 5' 2.5", BMR comes out as 1203.Have successfully lost some weight and prob not much more to lose but as I am gradually increasing my exercise levels back up to half marathons I would like to know at what level I…
  • I have been known to push myself a little too hard at the gym....like the time I had to leave the circuit class and lie down in the hall, either that or pass out. The instructor was a little worried at how white I went! Now I stick to going bright red and sweating buckets ;-)
  • They have some quite cheap ones in Tesco at the moment...just under £30 I think.
  • Am starting this tomorrow....but can't find it anywhere on the exercise database to add to my diary. Can anyone help, please?
