Weight lifting

So this is my progress from the last few weeks of weight training. To be honest I'm not sure if i can see a change, although I feel a lot better in myself. Please ignore my terrible cellulite, I blame genetics for that part!!

FYI - I'm 5'3 and 127lbs in both pictures.

    wow you have lost considerably from the tummy and the butt.If you cant see it, just look at the difference in your belly button.Well done,keep going:drinker:

  • haha seriously? I'd say I'm so far from toned! Thanks though guys! My boyfriend is stupidly strong and I asked him to give me a simple programme for weight lifting because I know the benefits are endless for women who lift weights. I've been doing the following:

    Monday: Chest and Tricep
    Tuesday : Back and Bicep
    Wednesday : Cardio and abs
    Thursday: Shoulders
    Friday: Legs (ahhhh!)
    Saturday: Cardio and abs
    Sunday: Rest!

    I've also been trying to get a 3km warm up on the treadmill before i started weights but sometimes I dont have the energy, and I do a 5km on my cardio days. I've been reletively consistent with this with a few slip ups. Eating around 1500 a day of mainly clean food, trying to get in more protein too. I've had a few heavy nights out and a few naughty meals (chinese, burgers). Got 5 weeks until I go on holiday and I really want to get my hips and thighs down!

  • I was 9 stone 1 (127lbs) in the first picture and the same in the second. The first picture was a couple of months ago but was the last shot i took, 4 weeks ago just before I started weight lifting I was 9 stone 5 (131lbs) but I tend to fluctuate anyway
