You need to eat all your calories chicken, if you log exercise it gives you extra calories to eat and you need to eat those back too. And watch where you're getting your calories from, something might be low cal but if it's just empty calories and no nutrition it's not going to do you any good and you'll just get hungry…

Definitely get a tape measure! I lost 10cm from my waist without losing a single kg because I weight train!

A little token gift would be nice, not something expensive but something that shows you were thinking about her  Might break the ice too

The only way I can do it is by exercising every day and eating back the calories I burn. Also focus on eating a lot of protein rich foods. However if it is a real struggle and you are constantly hungry you are better off upping your calorie intake so that you have more energy to exercise and go about your daily life,…

Wow, amazing work!!

To be honest I think you need to get to the deeper problem. As a past binger (and someone who still struggles with it at times) it was always at times when I was feeling 'low' or 'empty', and you try to make up for it by filling up with food. I would recommend encouraging them to see a counselor to try and figure out why…

Hey chick, it's not the same situation but I have Endo and feel like that makes me able to relate in a way, horrific periods and other worries. Among other things it led to me becoming quite depressed and just exhausted with it all, so I know struggling with these things can be difficult and would really advise you to see…

I have stretchmarks on my hips, breasts and bum, but they've faded over time and don't bother me. I've never had anyone else comment about them either :)

Hi, I added you  And I use the vegetarian recipes on this site a lot, they're usually yummy and it's handy to have the nurtition info listed http://www.healthyfood.co.nz/

I don't think they're too bad considering you don't have other options, but I would nix the rice and ask for some veges on the side? Or even just lightly boil some frozen beans or other veges yourself to have with them to up the nutrient count, surely your parents couldn't argue with that. As others have said it's all…

Insanity is incredible! And doable if you are already reasonably fit, it will push you hard. But if you're not so fit you might want to start with something less intense

I'd like to try, the motivation could be just what I need!

Amazing!!!! Congratulations, you really earned it!

It's dangerous to cut down so far and fast in such a short time, but a wedding is very important to most people. If she's going to do it she'd need a combo of cardio and resistance training to really burn the big calories, and focus on clean eating - no sugar, caffeine, saturated fats - go raw veges, fruit, and lots of…

Definitely, same here!

Definitely a protein shake for breakfast! I feel so much hungrier during the day if I don't start off with one

I suppose a heart rate monitor could work for this? I can't really see why not

Hi, I'm Nicole, I joined a while ago but have only just started to use MFP regularly! I'm finding the app great for accountability for what I eat, but still need to have a bit more self control :D
