HAha... thanks! The "hilly" part scared me, but if they would indicated it as hilly if there were bad, I'd be worried. I appreciate the help!
-
Aww- thank you!! I played with it for 20 minutes, but had to move on to work stuff. Thanks again!
-
Ok, I took out the %20 and it still isn't working. I will have to come back later to fix.

International McDonald's and U.S. McD's are quite different. If you look at the ingredients in Kraft Mac & Cheese here vs. there you would be shocked. The UK does not allow for most of the artificial dyes/coloring and preservatives that is in everything here. I can't C/P on my phone, but just the ingredient list for a McD…

[/quote] McDonald's have had playgrounds for as long as I can remember. Had I screamed to stop at one my father would have most likely smacked my mouth. I have to agree that you cannot blame and attack the retailer. I mean, honestly, who is next? McDonald's doesn't hide what they sell anymore than Hershey's does. And don't…

Don't let that fool you! Those playgrounds are a marketing ploy to have your child scream to stop there. There are playgrounds mostly in inner city mcdonald's, not in more affluent areas. It is not only a way to get your kid in there, but to get you to stay and keep getting more food. It is disgusting. Yes, there is always…

I have never taken my kids to mcdonald's. I also don't let them smoke. I personally don't see the difference. It is junk food. How is it NOT junk food?

Great- I will start taking notice of my weekly calories, I never really have looked at that report. Now that I've built up to that amount of running I'm really noticing a big difference in my appetite on the days I don't run.
-
Thanks, I appreciate that. I have found something that works for me now, so running every other day as opposed to not at all is what I plan on doing. My down days are hardly that with my two active children.
-
I run 3 miles every other day. On my down days, I work full time and chase around my two toddlers. So, yes, EVERY OTHER DAY.
-
I have not done a color run, but my understanding is it just like any other 5K. I did C25K and went from not being able to run a 1/2 mile to being able to run my entire 5K in less than 33 minutes. In every race, there are competitors and people who are doing it more for fun. Just train and start further back in the pack…

No matter how much you plan, it will never be perfect. Just try your best to enjoy it and don't stress over all these details. Life is way too short.

We did a taco/fajita buffet and got a ton of compliments on the food because it was not typical wedding food. It was also so reasonably priced. People still recall our menu and say how awesome it was.
-
I would focus on the marriage and not the wedding. The wedding is over in a day. The biggest mistake you could make is to think your wedding is as important to your guests (or anyone else for that matter) than you and your future husband. The worst weddings I've been to are where I KNOW the couple went into a large debt to…

I was an unathletic 5'11'' at 13 years old. My mom was shorter and so was my older sister. Encourage her and don't necessarily push sports. Leave it up to her. Thankfully now there are a lot of tall clothing stores and she can hopefully feel good in her clothing. I also used to get very annoyed when people would push…

I am 5'11'', so I guess I can see what you are talking about. Great advice from everyone. I find it really interesting that it sounds like more weight is needed to go down with larger sizes. It figures!

Definitely eat your breastfeeding calories! You and your milk supply need it. Try going to http://kellymom.com/category/nutrition/mothers-diet/ for some really great advice on all aspects of breastfeeding. I'm in my 24th month of breastfeeding (my second child now). I just really started to focus on weight loss about 2…

Yes, I don't mind if it rounds down. I just hate getting credit for the whole pound when it hasn't happened yet.

Aren't all moms working moms? LOL. I work full time from home and travel. I have two kids (almost 1 and almost 3) in day care. I feel fortunate that I can work out when i'm in my office. My Dad built me a treadmill desk, so I often will walk slowly while catching up on computer work. I do try to do a family walk after…

You look great! Any advice on how you did it? Regular exercise, etc?
-
This looks super good! I sometimes use that brand's flatbread... but this looks much larger!
-
I'm on every day for 40 days... I'm very committed to getting to my goal and maintaining it!
-
That's great! I can't wait for people who don't know I'm trying to lose weight to ask if I am. I think that is a HUGE thing!

You look awesome! What are you doing to see such progress? (Share!)

Hi! I am a nursing mom who also works full time. I am trying to get back in shape after being pregnant/nursing for the past 4 years. I'm also interested in connecting with other Mom's doing the same. Hello!
-
Thanks for the good advice. I picked out a few items that look healthy and are also appealing. I'm a little too new at this to be taking a break so soon, but thank you for the encouraging words!
-
I agree with that! If I were 150, I'd probably be hospitalized!
-
Add me! I am 5'11'' and weigh 199 right now after 2 kids in 22 months. I plan to get back to 175 and then take it from there.
-
Welcome! I am here for day 1, too. Ideally I'd like to lose 25 lbs, but am starting with a smaller goal of 10. Good luck!
