Also keep in mind that weight loss isn't a steady progression. Some weeks, you may not lose at all. I tend to plateau for a few weeks, have a bigger drop, then plateau again. Keep at it. Slow and steady wins the race!

It was helpful when I was put on it 10 years ago. I have tried multiple times to stop taking it and I can't deal with the withdrawal symptoms. I would not start taking Effexor unless several other meds that didn't work. I wish I had never started it.

I start to only track good eating days and I forget to log the bad days. Then I start to only log the good food, as if I can avoid the consequences of the calories if I don't write them down. Then I start not logging anything, which is game over . . . I really need to keep myself accountable to me.

I couldn't tolerate the CPAP in the second sleep study. I really tried. I really wanted it to work because I was so sick of being tired all of the time. The masks are horrible. Use it when you can and know that soon enough, you won't need it. Good luck.

Hi everyone. I'm Dulci and I was banded on October 28, 2011. I've lost 20 lbs so far, including the preop diet. I started tracking using the Realize web site but this one is so much better.
