I was having the same problem and noticed my fiber was always way low and my doctor suggested foods like Raisin Bran or prune juice but I didn't want to waste the calories, so I got some Metamucil. 20 cals a teaspoon and seems to be working.

I think pigs are cute, so I refuse to eat them. I eat a lot of turkey bacon though. Jennie-O makes a great one. 25 calories per slice.

I use the recipe builder a lot, so I don't weigh my food and change the calories every single time I make that recipe. That defeats the purpose. I eat plenty healthy. I've been at this since May and started at 273. I reached 253 on Aug 25 and have steadily crept upwards to 258. I am logging accurately. I lost 80lbs in 2013, so I know what I'm doing. I just didn't keep logging and gained 70lbs back. So I've done this before, but it wasn't this hard last time.

I've never been told to monitor my iodine intake. I'll ask my doctor about that. I have never eaten shrimp, if you can believe it.

I can't do much exercise because I have sciatica so even walking is painful. I haven't increased my activity at all. I'm totally befuddled. The more water I drink, the thirstier I am. I think your body gets used to having a lot of water and keeps wanting more. Of course that's not science-based, just my observation.

Another Paderno fan here. Comes with three blade attachments for different size noodles. I use mine at least twice a week.

I drink two cups of coffee to help stave off hunger after lunch and after dinner. I use 1/2 cup Silk vanilla unsweetened almond milk and 1 tbsp sugar free cream which amounts to 35 Cals per cup. Makes the cup more substantial too.

A half of cup of almond milk in coffee is only 15 calories and makes it a bigger cup and tastes yummy.

Not before 10am ever. Not all people work in the morning and want to be woken up at 7 or 8am. However, some lucky people, like my husband, can sleep through anything.

Wake up each day and remember why you're doing it. Even write some goals down so you can physically see and refer to them when you lose your way. Take one day at a time and feel good about yourself everyday that you are committed to getting healthier.
