  • no judgement, like i said, i have gotten bored and am mixing it up..... i don't usually eat white bread but it was what the store had that day ... so no choice.... i don't like roasted veggies at all.....i do broccoli but only cooked, the soup i have been eating all week is home made, low sodium and is packed with…
  • thx, i do have to say i normally eat kashi go lean but bought this stuff just to try something different... I also also buy whole grain bread but the store was all out, not even whole wheat did they have, so i took what was on sale as that is how i roll... i used to eat oatmeal every day but have gotten tired of it, went…
  • i find my weakness is carbs... i try to choose good ones but just in general i have a hard time keeping them at my set macro.... eg) tomorrow's lunch, just between yogurt, fruit, veggies and my quest bar i am at 140. my max! that's not even supper or anything else.... no bread, pasta, or anything... just healthy items.....…
  • i do that but i can't eat that daily or even weekly.. I will roast a chicken once or twice a month and that's it.. otherwise chicken will just be in some sort of dish for dinner. I am not a huge meat eater
  • my trigger is being bored or emotional/ stress.... that i can't change unfortunately.. stress if from my job, home life, kids, etc it's just there .... as soon as i get home it hits harder. i can be super good all day and then BAM once i get home... agggg i don't know if it's because i am being too good during the day and…

  • Oh and sorry to the OP as I feel like I hacked their thread but there is such great advice on here I didn't want to start a second thread about the same thing
  • Yes I do I weight and measure all my food!!! Have for 2 years now. I set it at exercise 5 days a week as I will always get in 30 min min 5 days a week. If I can I will get 6. I am short too, only 5.2 ft.
  • Some great advice here... Guess my fat gain in the lower belly is because I was eating at tdee instead of below. Also why the scale is going up and down a lot this year... I thought I was doing 15% cut from tdee but on the calculator it was 1718 tdee and with 15% off that I thought I was doing to lose body fat and change…
  • Hummmm u am a bit confused, sorry. I used this site to figure out tdee. http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ it gives me 1718 and bmr 1178. So I was taking a 15% deficit off that to lose body fat and those 6 lbs. I just keep bouncing around and unable to drop body fat. So if I understand u correctly I should eat the 1718?…
  • See my measurements are all the same but yet some clothes feel snugger and I haven't lower belly pooching out way more. I measure, use calipers and scale
  • Thx u for responding. I figured because I was lifting for the past year I wouldn't get water retention or muscles repairing that much to make a difference now. I know the day I get my " monthly friend" I am always at my lowest so I always used that as my true weight. I weighed myself the other day as I do it weekly and it…
  • i am still trying to figure this our myself... all of last year i was pretty consistent, and did gain 3 lbs for a month or so when i started lifting. but it did level out and i seen in my pic my body was changing so all was good. This year i am bouncing all over the place weight wise.. it's so frustrating.. up to 6 lbs. I…
  • that is my problem, i still haven't figure it out.......
  • humm. hope i do.. nothing yet....
  • yes you should... because you are exercising a lot more i bet you are burning more then that extra 100 cals you have added... have you figured out your tdee?
  • what kind of results did you get? how many cals were you eating?
  • The only time I have a flat tummy is when I flex!!! Otherwise it's squishy and the pooch sticks out. I work hard at it but I think it's not going to happen for me as much as I want it to ...
  • well said, so many just don't get that!!! 5 lbs on a short frame can mean a whole jean size up! that is why i like to surround myself with friends that are shorties on here, :)
  • no prob, here you go : Provide your stats (height/weight/age/bodyfat% if you know it/etc) 5.2 ft/ bouncing between 114-119./ 37/ 22% BF or so.. What's your current gross intake of calories, on average? 1500 What's your current average intake of protein, carbs, and fats, in grams? (GRAMS, not percent!) 40-30-30 but tend to…
  • yes it is... the same thing happened to me. i did the 1200 thing but it only last 2 months before plateau set in and i just couldn't do it. I upped to 1400 and i lost the same amount with eating more. I have always ate back almost all if not all of my exercise cals as well.. i think you are ready to stay above the 1200…
  • i am 37 and am re doing block 2 in p90x3.
  • yes i was at the dr's in jan for my yearly blood work and all was excellent besides my low b12 and iron levels which i also get supplements for. shots every 3 weeks for b12 and now take a low dose iron supplement. I think i will continue on with x3 and finish the program, i am not a quitter ;) and if i gain b/c of muscle…
  • thx i have, right after the 1st time you posted it. yes i also lost it at a way slower rate too, took a year just to lose 20 lbs... but now that i am trying harder and exercise more frequently, etc i feel it's harder... as when i lost my weight i was only focused on weight, and only watched my cal intake and i only…
  • what did you do to get that definition???? i am also 5.2 ft and struggling to lose more body fat. i am currently around 22% and have a goal of 19-20%. all of last year i maintained 115 lbs but this year it's bouncing all over the place :(
  • that's awesome... i also am 5.2 ft and i started at 142 lbs. i now bounce between 114-118. i also went from a 29 waist to a 25.5 but my hips are still larger :( i was 40 and now 35.5, don't think i can get them much smaller now :( i know how hard work it is, so a huge congrats out to you!!!!
  • i have to say i do have a thyroid disorder, so sometimes there is NO explanation why i gain and if it is in fact b/c of food, exercise stall or just my thyroid.. i never know and that makes it that much harder... i just never like using that as a excuse... i log everything the way i always have and in my loss from the get…
  • I totally get that, but it's not just that, I obviously am gaining as I can feel it in my clothes! I really could care less about the scale , it's the body fat I can't seem to lose no matter how hard I am trying. Yes I stayed the same weight all last year but I still couldn't drop body fat? I log everything, I have bounced…
  • oh i am logging.. i stopped from sept to dec but as of jan and when i started x3, i started logging again... i log everything. i even went from 15-1600 cals to eating a base of 1300 and then eating back exercise cals, so on my rest day i am eating less or on the days that are less calorie burning i am eating less too....…
