  • I'm currently 6.5 months pregnant and am gonna start tracking my foods and exercise! I'm obviously not wanting to lose weight but need to be accountable for what I'm eating (the holidays have really gotten out of hand...sweets sweets sweets!).
  • I'm new to this group! I'm 20w4d pregnant with my first child! I got married in July and my husband and i got pregnant a month later! It's definitely been a journey! I used MFP before I got married and loved it. After I got pregnant I wasn't sure if I should still use it and didn't. I'm dance director at a high school and…
  • I'm starting over again myself! Good Luck and you've got this! The biggest thing for me to get over is if I have a detour one day I have to get back on track and not give up!
  • Thanks for the replies! I work 15 hour days and weekends...drill team director here!!! I have not logged on consistently the last two weeks due to being extremely sick. Been in and out of the dr doing multiple tests. When you work with kids and the flu is going around it does need turn out pretty! :) I've actually been…
  • You could also keep doing the shred and up your weights!!! I've read on here that people do that...you can also prolong the 30 days to 60 and do 20 days on each level...i'm thinking of starting mine up again and doing 20 days on each level along with doing the JM Yoga Meltdown!!!
  • I have little time in the morning and used to not eat breakfast until i got to work and then would only eat a banana and yogurt, but i've tried to really focus on eating breakfast before I leave the house to get my metabolism going...i've started eating a cup and a half of cereal with a half a cup of 1% milk...I usually…

  • Make sure to drink a TON of water!!! I love to walk, especially at a fast pace but I always get bloated especially in my hands and arms. Just make sure to stretch and keep the water flowing!
  • I'm with you all! I'm about 145 and i'd like to even be at 129 by May 1st. My wedding isn't until July but I want to be in a good spot for my bridals which will be mid may. It's so frustrating because it's like "what route do I take?"....my mom does south beach whenever she's really wanting to push herself, but I have hard…
  • Thank you for all of your responses!!! I have actually noticed that I don't have much of an appetite which has helped me stop eating when i'm full! Thanks again!!!
  • I'm in this category! I'm 142 and 5'2 but most people are shocked and don't believe that I weigh that much. I'd of course LOVE to lose 20 pounds but I think that's too much pressure to put on myself for the next 7 months before my wedding, so i've told myself I want to tone and just feel good...so 10 pounds but mainly…
  • I have gotten them before and they were super painful! The doctor said he thought I may have been getting an allergic reaction...I didn't notice any difference though. :/
  • I ate all the calories that I burned yesterday and still went over! (and I burned 400 calories) And Fridays are hard because I can't work out on my lunch break because we go to our favorite mexican restaurant for lunch every friday, so i'll probably go over today again due to not being able to work out...but sometimes it's…
  • I can't find a place to change the batteries on teh strap...so is it just the watch battery? The watch is working just fine...
  • I took it off, cleaned it, and wet it when I put it on. It still had it up to 202 when I know it should have been at 125 or 130! So annoying! When I just got done walking the thing was soaked and i had it tight!
  • It may be a heat rash! I know after I get done working out, especially my long walk/runs, my legs itch terribly but I think it's just from the blood circulation!
  • I'm gonna try this tonight!!! Our neighbor is on bed rest so i'm gonna make chicken and dumplings and this!!!
  • I made a greek salad with shredded canned chicken on top that I got from eatingwell.com. By using the canned chicken I saved on some calories!!! :) A giant salad for 177 calories! And a nonfat yogurt! :)
  • Consistency is the main point, but i usually weight in after peeing and in my birthday suit before I hit the shower!!! :) As long as you weigh in the same way each week you will be fine!
  • This is awesome!!! this is great for planning out meals and staying on track!
  • I"m wondering the same thing! When i was on college dance team our trainer told me I was only aloud to eat oatmeal but plain with no sugar or milk...only water! I've never had oatmeal since but am really wanted to get that to be my morning routine since everyone says it's super filling and good for you!!! :)
  • I"m wanting to start getting up 30 minutes earlier and take my 90 pound labradoodle for an early morning walk, but he walks and then stops infront of me like "hey mom are you coming?!" The entire walk is a go stop go stop go process!!!
  • I have this DVD and 3 pound hand weights...i've gotta start it up again! I haven't ran or done my 3 miles of speed walking in over a months and my legs are DISGUSTING!!! That would be a good thing for me to do while dinner is in the oven. It's a great circuit workout and even though it's 25 minutes, it works soo well!
  • I'm so glad I read this post!!! I've been wanting to get up just 30 minutes earlier each morning to take my 90 pound labradoodle for a walk so he gets to use up all that energy and i can get some form of exercise in! But like others I can't seem to get up at 5am and snooze until 5:30...EVERY MORNING!!! I've gotta just make…
  • I have a hard time with this because I don't get off work until 6 but it takes me almost 40 minutes to get home and my fiance doesn't get home until after 7 so by the time we eat it's 8pm and I like to try to be in bed at 9 because I have to leave for work at 6:30 am!!!! It's a non stop battle. There are alot of times that…
  • I have a heart rate monitor that i love and that's helped with tracking the calories that I burn! I'm a teacher and it's just been a rough school year so far that it's been hard to find time to work out. I work 12 hour days (6:30-6:30) so sometimes I want to see my family instead of run to the gym and i'm usually in bed by…
