Weighing In

When you weigh in, I'm told to do it after you have your morning bm and in your birthday suit. I step on it a few times just to see how much I'd weigh partially dressed or whatnot. What weight do you typcially write down? For example, this morning, there was a 2 pound differences from when I stepped on the scale the first time and then a second time partially dressed. There is no way my undergarments weigh two pounds. Even if I step on the scale two different times without any clothes, the scale would read different measures [it's a digital scale].

It really doesn't matter what you wear or do before you weigh in, The thing is, just do it the same every time.

Every time you step on the scales, you are getting a snapshot and nothing else.

I step on as soon as I get up and after my morning pee lol....starkers so there can be no clothing difference. Not a pretty thought even for myself but then there are no mirrors in my room so no worries! :-D

Exactly! Just stay consistent with how and when you weigh in every week. The number in itself isn't so important as seeing what the difference is from the week before. Do measurements also- I measure about once a month. It keeps me motivated even when I am having a rough day on the scale. :)

I weigh once, right after my shower and before I get dressed, and that's what gets recorded. I weigh in on Fridays, and I try not to pay much attention to the scale otherwise. It's not even in the bathroom anymore, since we're remodeling, and I find I kinda like it that way.

i recommend a scale that take a snapshot of your bodyfat by mesureing resistance in your body with an light electrical current. They are not 100 percent accuarate but as long as you a number to go by you have something to compare... Weight is supperficial and you shouldnt really be guiding yourself by it. weight can be mis leading....

KEEP ON TRUKING AND REMEMBER... weight loss is a marathon no a sprint....

Consistency is the main point, but i usually weight in after peeing and in my birthday suit before I hit the shower!!! :) As long as you weigh in the same way each week you will be fine!
