Hi Pal. Congradulations on you success! I had weight loss surgery to help me loose the weight. I would say yes to cutting back on the carbs if its a big part of your diet and see if you loose or not. Then go from there and try to find a good nutritional balance to keep you loosing. Good luck Hun!

17 months post RNY. Right now I get in around 800 - 1000 calories per day. I plan to try and increase my caloric intake to 1300 to try and stop loosing. Its so hard to get the right amount of food in when I stay so busy. I usually don't realize how little I've eaten until I go back to log my food for the day. Most days, I…

My surg. recommended that I blend up some of my favorite canned soups. I tried some new ones too. The split pea and ham was my favorite. I made some homemade chicken soup and blended it. That was the best. My family enjoyed it to.

There's some loose skin but it is not that bad. I can wear short sleeved tops and shorts and feel comfortable. My tummy's not too bad either. Spanx works very well. So, no plans for cosmetic surgery at the moment.

I started at 275 wearing 22s & 24s. My goal was to be a size 14 and weigh 165. I am 9 months post op and I am a size 8 and weigh 149. I have never been this size before, but, I like it. My goals have certainly changed. I am working to stay this size. There is still the daily goal of getting in my protein, water, and…

You are getting closer lady. Congrats! I didn't have to go on a liquid diet prior to my surgery. I did use them post op. Orange was my favorite from Bariatric Advantage. I thought that I would like my usual favorites, chocolate or strawberry, but I didn't. Good luck!

I take the BA multi- vitamins, liquid calcium & vit. D, chewable Biotin, B-12, and Papaya enzymes all from WalMart. I don't like the taste of any of it. All of it is so sweet. Kind of like those pez candies. It's all working for me though. My labs came back great. My regimen is working, so I just suck it up.
