  • Stock up on some protein bars like Quest or Victory from Oh Yeah! Throw them in the car, purse, gym bag. It'll always be on hand and you won't have to make unhealthy choices.
  • Mrs. Dash is always an option but I hear very good things about Flavor God...check him out. http://flavorgod.com/
  • I make my protein pancakes/waffles like so: 1 scoop protein, 1/2 cup oats & 1/3 cup almond milk. In blender/ninja/whatever, blend together (add cinnamon if you'd like), and throw it on the pan! Easy as pie and always delicious. I top mine w/ walden farms syrup, chocolate syrup and/or peanut butter.
  • I think this is a great website as well to figure out your proper macros! http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ Good luck with your journey!! :)

  • Always mesaure food once it's cooked :) You could portion out 1 cup of pasta but since it expands - it'll actually be more than 1 cup once it's cooked! :) Hope this helps!
  • Swai is the best non-fishy tasting fish ever! I just sprinkle Mrs. Dash Salt Free Seasoning on (any flavor) with some lemon juice. Bake it at 350 for 20-ish minutes. SO good. I also dip it in a mixture of mild wing sauce (sweet baby ray's or anchor bar or even red hot would work) & mustard. SOOOOO good. You won't regret…
  • I use a Polar FT4 - more for cardio than lifiting but I do wear while I lift....I love my Polar and you can grab one for about $65-ish on Amazon! :)
  • ^^^^^ This!! Have your clothes ready the night before. Water bottle ready to go in the fridge, so you can grab and go. Don't worry about what you look like b/c it's early morning and well you're working out. :) When my alarm goes off, I just hop out of bed and shut my alarm off. Yes, some mornings are harder than others…
  • I either use cooking spray or parchment paper before putting the quest bars in the oven :) My favorite is chocolate chip cookie dough. I also love banana nut muffin and cinnamon roll too. I actually enjoy every single bar except for the peanut butter and jelly :) The Quest PB Cups are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I can't wait…
  • Yes I just saw Lonnie!! :) Yay!

  • If you're just starting out, definitely take it easy so you don't injure yourself. If you're starting out on the treadmill, start with a 3.0.... I actually never go over a 3.5 b/c I'm on an incline....and I also only do 30 min at a time. Don't kill yourself!! Enjoy working out!!! :)
  • Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke
  • There are a lot of light beers out now that are less than 100 cals. ex: Mich Ultra - 95 cals. I like cherry vodka & sodas b/c the soda water has no calls at all!! And it's refreshing!
  • I never was a HUGE fan of bananas but now I cut them up, and freeze them. Then I add natural peanut butter to them. So delicious and I don't miss ice cream at all... ....well sometimes
  • I do the same thing!!
  • I'm currently using Met RX protein plus (chocolate of course). It's delicious and it only has 4g of Carbs & 1g of Sugar. Just a side note: Whenever looking for protein you always want to make sure it has less than 7g of Carbs & 5g Sugar.
  • I meal prep twice a week. That could be a good option and then you carry meals w/ you while running around. And exercise is all about making time. If you're serious about making yourself healthier and more fit, you will find the time to work out!!
  • I'm used to doing squats with the barbell and weights and I was always afraid of falling forward and I could never focus on lifting/driving w/ my heels. • I just started running myself. Always told myself I couldn't run. If I'm running on a treadmill, I just throw a towel over the time so I can't see it, throw my music on and start running. I just keep telling myself I can do it even though my legs wanna give out. Hoping the weather here gets warm soon b/c I want to run…
  • There's always brown rice cakes with natural PB or almond butter. Almonds? :)
  • I'm a pasta lover myself...I've switched to brown rice pasta. Can't even taste the difference. So good!!
  • What about greek yogurt? I have 3/4 cup everyday...15g of carbs. Not sure how "low-carb" you're looking for though.
