Hi,
So I notice when you try to log "treadmill" workouts into MFP , it comes up as "stair-treadmill ergometer". Does this mean that it is reading it as a stepper machine or an actual treadmill? I've been putting in whatever speeds I've been walking or jogging, but I feel like that is not an accurate representation of what I'm doing on the machine. But I don't want to put in a stepper exercise if that is not what I'm doing.
Any help?

Just enter in your own exercise and put how many minutes you did and what the calories are that you burned. When I do treadmill. I put in run/walk and whatever the calories burned show on my treadmill.0

Log as walking/running/jogging. Whatever you did.0

Use the walking or jogging/running entry for your MPH. Or use an online treadmill calculator (although the one I use tends to seem a bit high.)0

I just keep the stairmill-treadmill label and replace the MFP calorie count with the calorie count from the machine. Please someone correct me if I am wrong but the label is just a label - as long as you update with the correct calorie count you can use any label. If you prefer better tracking you can create your own cardio labels as well...0

I do the same thing!! :happy:0 -
Thanks all, this helped a lot. Unfortunately the treadmill at my gym does not have a way for you to enter your weight, so it cannot give me a precise number of calories burned, so I guess I will go with the walk/run entering as I have been doing.
Thanks for everyone's replies!!0
