I make a fairly simple smoothie of equal parts water, kale, and mixed berries. At least with this particular smoothie, I don't have any trouble drinking it even after it's sat out in its mason jar for 8 or more hours.

Calories eaten minus calories burned is your total calorie intake for the day (net calories). You want your net calories to hit 1600. If you've exercised enough to burn 600 calories, you'll probably want to eat around 2200 calories for the day to reach that 1600 net calorie goal.
