Cheating implies that your on a diet. This is a tool to help you think differently, be healthy and change habbits. I don't cheat. But I do explore new creative ways of reaching my calorie and nutrition goal by using a large variety of foods and spices. Sometimes that means going a bit overboard, but it isn't cheating.

egg whites with vegies or I like a bit of canadian bacon and mozzarella cheese. Or I like old fashioned oats with blueberries and brown sugar for a whopping 175 calories. But is oatmeal a wheat product? Not sure....

My daughter is a scout too, People tell me they have eaten every single one they bought, (like 5 boxes full) and All 5 boxes that I purchased are still in my pantry, waiting for summer when I will be outside and way more active. Then I can eat them without feeling guilty. Besides, Trefoils make the best S'mores! Man I…

Don't listen to them. you have all the support you need right here. The biggest loser doesn't produce the positive environment that it should. It's not healthy mentally. Take care, you are doing awesome!

definately eat back at least half of your exercise calories, it takes fuel to burn fuel. I didn't start losing weight until well into my second month here, and I find that the more water I dring, the faster I lose the weight. It will happen. Take some measuerments, as your body adjust to weight loss it will shift your…

My diary is public. I didn't do it for accountablility, but for when my weightloss seems to be on hold. Then my friends can go in and help me figure out what changed, what could be better etc. I also like it because it gives other people ideas on food combinations to reach their calorie goals. I am only on a 1200 per day…

I would say that there is a reason it calls for butter. But I would probly try to cut it back at least by half.

I love my Fitbit. I have been using it for about a month. It has shown me that my activity level which was set at sedentary, was set way too low. I do more moving than I thought I did, I set my activity level to lightly active, and my fitbit adjustment after a typical office day with no exercise is about 30 calories. I…

I normally use sugar in baking, but I use truvia in tea, or on grapefruit etc. I keep a few packets in my purse. Truvia is a stevia product, tastes like sugar, measures like sugar, bakes like sugar etc. But it is more expensive than sugar.

The HIIT thing sounds interesting I'm gona have to check it out. But in the mean time, we have the pressing issue of tonight, right? I would try to take a walk at lunch, snack at your desk. I am in the same boat for today, but my hubby wants pizza tonight, and it looks like I'll be ordering chicken. But I get up every half…

You should always net at least 1200 calories. I always try to eat half or more of my exercise calories. It takes fuel to burn fuel!

This is close, when you put your exercise into MFP, it tells FB and replaces the calories burned for that period of time on your FB . If you are consistantly getting a large fitbit calorie adjustment then you have your MFP activity level set too low. My adjustment is usually around 100 caloires, depending on how active I…

Hi, Niki here, I am 4 foot 7 inches, 37 years old, and my starting weight was 178. I am down 9 lbs as of now. My goal weight is 100. I have a long road ahead of me, and would love some shorter friends to enjoy it with. I like groups better because I may never find this forum again. If I can join a group, it just shows up…

I agree with the last person, it is ok, but if you are on medication for blood pressure check with your doctor before using it. Mine has me using a half and half salt. It is half potasium and half sodium. I also use sea salt on occasion. But be careful, especially if you put salt on everything.
-
You can also use ground turkey instead ov hamburger to cut calories and fat. Still pretty high on sodium though.

Soda Pop products. Anything fizzy.

I agree with this, the math doesn't make sense. 2 lbs a week is an awful lot. I would drop back to 1
-
double check your settings, make sure that your weight loss goal is set to only 1 lb per week, and your activity level needs to be set correctly. Mine wasn't for a long time and I had trouble losing.

I had the same problem. Load the software, restart your computer then try to link your fitbit. It took me a couple tries, but it finally worked. Also there is a tiny reset button on the bottom of your charging stand. put the fitbit on the stand and use a toothpick to push the reset button. This also is supposed to help.
