He literally dips the veggies in whatever sauce is provided and licks the sauce off. His veggies are simply a delivery mechanism for his ranch. :|

He hates raw veggies, but he does love soup. That's a great idea. Thank you for the suggestion!

Thank you all for the responses regarding my breastfeeding questions. They were very informative, and I was provided a helpful link!

I'm not sure it's appropriate to create a new post for a request like this: could anyone look at my food diary and tell me if my fat content is too high? I'm a nursing mother, so I try to get a decent amount for more nutritional milk for my baby. But I think I might be overdoing it.

Thank you!

Update: the nurse practioner, who also happens to be a lactation consultant, approved my diet. She is okay with me starting the day out with a bulletproof coffee to ensure I get the good fats in early. She says, if I start to see a drop in supply, to add even more calories/fat.

Twins?! What a challenge! You're a superwoman.

I'm back after a couple of years' break. Is there now a way to tag other people in groups? I want to get my husband here.

Thank you all for these responses. I've had trouble finding any support for low carb while breastfeeding. I intend to drink a gallon of liquid per day, and that will include electrolyte water just in case. I did low-carb prior to getting pregnant with my now two year old, then again once he was born, but haven't done it…

I am in. It's been a long time since I've been on MFP. Is this all I have to do to join a challenge or is there more to it? I am at my heaviest non-pregnant weight. Before my first pregnancy, February 2014, I was 165lbs. Now, two babies later, I am 233. My 2nd baby was born in April. I need to do this for my sons. MFPSW…

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I love Woodmans. When I can't find a sale on something, I go to Woodmans for the best price. Which area of WI are you from?

I shop at Pick N' Save and Piggly Wiggly. I double-coupon and save about a third off of my grocery bill. If anyone has a store in their area that does this, I suggest you take advantage of it. What's on sale changes, so it keeps variety in your diet. It really IS realistic to eat healthy for cheap.

I've done this job for 9 years now. We handle calls for the entire county, which includes county sheriff, city police, county fire, and city fire. What everyone else is saying is true. The job changes you. It can make you unhealthy and cynical. But you have the advantage going into it of being warned. Maybe you can look…

Married, With Children This cracks me up because Modern Family and Sons of Anarchy are two of my favorite shows. I love seeing these two so young!

In to come back and look at all the fun GIFs after work!

What are Neopets and Nick.com? I can't check for myself right now because of my work's filters.

I take a quick peek at their profile to see if they've made message board posts, if we have any mutual friends, or if they have anything written in their profile. Even if it's a no to all of this, I usually accept. The only automatic decline for me is when it's a guy who has nothing in his profle, no history of posts, and…

If there's still time, see if they post their menu on-line and figure out what you're going to have ahead of time. That makes dining out much easier when I do it.

If I'm in a pinch, I find something else similar to what I'm eating from another restaurant. If not, I'll track down the nutritional information on-line and add it to the database myself. You can only do that on the actual webpage, not the apps. You can add food just for your use on the apps, though.

"Clean" by Dr. Alejandro Junger - a great approach to Clean eating, explained in a conversational manner, yet backed up with scientific studies. "The Women's Health Big Book of Exercises" - this is my favorite book ever. It helps me add little variations to my workouts to keep them from getting boring. It also has a bunch…

My favorite is low-carb pancakes. If I ever stop doing low-carb, I will still eat these. They taste like a cross between crepes, pancakes, and French toast. 2 eggs 2 oz Neuftchatel cheese (softened in microwave for 15-20 seconds) 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp Splenda (or preferred sweetener) Beat with electric mixer on high speed…

So... who's all tried these now? Anyone vouching for them?

Finally made this. Holy yum! It's amazing how it transforms in the fridge in a plastic bag overnight. How on Earth does it do that?!
-
Oh! I get it. That's a great idea. Thank you!

The swimming is probably doable. But I've actually been doing the C25K, and my doctor told me not to run or have any sort of elevation until the hip gets better. I suppose I could walk on the treadmill. It's better than nothing, right? I think I will be making an appointment with a chiropractor soon. I had my hip x-rayed…

My gym doesn't have spinning classes, but I will check out those videos. Thank you. :)
