I'd love to join too. I'm 46, married, with a demanding, high stress career so I make little time for myself. Excuses, I know. I've been successful at losing weight before but have gained it all back - and then some. Time to refocus! CW is 187 (highest adult weight). :-( Ultimate goal weight would be 140. I have a friend getting married in October so I have a target. A realistic one pound per week and I will be close. If anyone in the challenge wants to send a friend request, I'd be happy to have the support. Good luck everyone! We can do this!5

Okay, checking in today. Body fat measurements are according to my electronic scale, which probably isn't very accurate, but it can show if it is dropping or not.
Sunday 12/25/16: 166.2 lbs (starting weight) 30.8% body fat
Sunday 1/1/17: 163.0 lbs 30.1% body fat
Update 1/1/17: Since I have been off of work I have been a lot more active then usual. So my deficits are higher then they normally will be. I am also tweaking my micronutrient profile to see what works best. I think I do best at 15% carbs / 50% fat / 35% protein but I am still experimenting with these numbers. I am still doing Sundays are my day off days. I "carb-load" those days, in other words, eat pasta, bread, everything I don't allow my self during the week. I love Sundays, but it also gives me even more reason to hate Mondays.0 -

This group is a perfect fit for me! I'm 52 years old and have gained 50 of my 80 lb weight loss. I'm so frustrated with menopause weight gain. I need all the help I can get! My current weight is 200 and my goal is 150. If anyone would like to friend me I would appreciate it for accountability!3

I hope I am not too late. I am 52 lost 5 kilos (approx 10 pounds) just last two months - just by tracking my intake and exercise on MFP.Need to lose 10 more pounds to get to a healthy level of weight. On my way there...1

I am in. It's been a long time since I've been on MFP. Is this all I have to do to join a challenge or is there more to it?
I am at my heaviest non-pregnant weight. Before my first pregnancy, February 2014, I was 165lbs. Now, two babies later, I am 233. My 2nd baby was born in April. I need to do this for my sons.

Hello, please count me in, too! 44 yo mum of 4, I want to lose at least 30lbs. Never dieted, am clueless! I bought myself a Leaf fitness tracker, so 10k steps a day is a start for me. And the food diary, oh dear I eat more than I thought! Am also doing Veganuary, so lots of veggies for me!0
