I have the UP24 and have had it for 15 months. I loved it but it is dying. I want a new tracker that will last a little longer and has good reviews. Ideas?

This has always been a favorite topic on MFP. Many of us like our beverages, some like them more. I tried to have a drink or two in with my daily caloric intake but....like a lays potato chip, I can't just have one and once I start having a couple, my supper of fish gets replaced with a 5 meat pizza. To give myself an…

I wimped out today and went to the gym and did a 5k on the treadmill. Not the same as being outside but ultimately I was glad I at least ran.

Watch the movies from the 70's and 80's and dig those groovy background music tracks

First, I would only consider having a "reward" day if I had put the work in and had something to show for the effort. I usually will get a good hour workout in to give myself a little extra wiggle room. I will still try to make relatively smart choices and will allow myself 500 calories over my goal + workout calories.

CR, i would love to have some MFP friends from the area.

I am also back for another go at it. I am also looking for friends to keep me honest and motivated. Please feel free to add me.

Just kind of side note. I finished week 2 day 2...pure cardio this morning. As I was drinking some water and cooling down in a puddle of sweat I found my self watching the Insanity infomercial. I guess it lives up to its billing and some good advertising too.
-
Finished cardio recovery this morning, was not what I was thinking it would've been. I know the muscles needed a break from from the first three days, but I feel like I didn't do anything this morning. Can't wait to get it cranked back up tomorrow wiht pure cardio.
-
Finished up day 3, Insanity cardio & Power Resistance, it was another tough workout but was a nice change from the Plyo which beat me up yesterday. I'm not as sore today as yesterday so not sure if I'm getting better, it was a different workout type or just didn't push enough. Looking forward to tomorrow although for some…

I just finished day 2, Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit, I guess finished is not quite true as I had to stop several times. What a workout. I have been walking around like a new born colt ever since I finished. Hopefully some of this soreness will go away by tomorrow. Good luck to everyone and again...I can't wait until…

I am going to start insanity on Monday the 22nd. I am looking for others who are also starting right around that time for support. I am also planning on using the nutrition guide. The food choices seem reasonable and the substitute foods are good for picky eaters like me.

I am starting insanity on 10/22. The meals look reasonable with good food substitutes for picky eaters like me. I plan to use the nutrition plan and dig deep for these workouts. Anyone else starting around this time frame add me for support and stories.

@Love, thank you for hijacking my post with your editorial. Look around you, anything you say or do will surely offend some person or some group in some way. If you hear a song on the radio you don't like, you change the channel. I started this post as a means to get positve feed back and inspiration to begin what I…

What type of diet do they suggest? I'm sure low carb hi clean protein. Is there a set amount of calories per day?

Thank you all for some good thoughts, it really sounds tough but well worth it and it makes you feel great.

What a great thread, I have been working out at home but just recently joined a gym. I wonder what my first story will be?

I weigh in on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Everyday would drive me crazy watching weight go up and down. Once a week would not give me enough feedback that the things I am doing are right and might need to change a few things.
