Be happy with yourself as a whole. Confidence is key, especially in making friends. Please be careful with throwing around 'genetics' though as an excuse for your shape. It's a well known cop out. There are too many people that know better and may not be kind. If you want to lose weight, you've found yourself at one of the…

I eat once a day, generally a 23-25 hr fast. I'm not maintaining though, I try to stick around 1000 cal. 20-4 fast is the warrior diet and I did that for a while when I was weight training. It works well. You can save a lot of money doing it, too.

I'm a little over 32

Honesty is the best policy. If it helps at all to point out, we can't precisely measure how many calories we're burning when we exercise and machines generally, egregiously over-estimate calories burned.

I've really liked Beast Amphetalean. No jitterness, get a steady stream of energy the likes of which you might get from fat, tastes good, excellent appetite suppressant imo. I mix it with creatine mono, which I find nauseating by itself. I usually work out fasted in the morning but I've had late night fasted workouts using…

That's exactly what I'm trying to accomplish by Thanksgiving, I'm in

As was suggested earlier.. Stop buying chips. You can't eat what you don't have... that gets you a win even in a moment of weakness. In place of chips, I eat dry Total flakes.. they're almost as crunchy as chips and are about 120 cal for a cup

Years ago I read a strategy to lower your total calorie intake per day by 15% until you get to your goal. Supposed to keep you from being shocked by an otherwise sudden deficit. I dunno if it works. I've found if I put off eating, I don't get that hungry. If I have a nibble, I've opened the floodgates and am thereunto…

lol ... yep. Disagree. Perhaps the OP is invoking the position of the people he/she debates with for response.

I overate when I was at work.. either out to big lunches or having pizza delivered to share with coworkers. On my off days, I thought I was eating pretty clean but was just eating way more than I needed. Because I'd been fit and muscular before, I didn't realize how fat I'd really gotten, I just thought I had a lot of…

how 'bout fasting until this issue resolves. I'm sure it hurts and it's probably dangerous. There are a lot of fine remedies listed, but I'd be weary of adding to the back of the problem. Coffee and walking are my best recommends, outside of waiting to eat.

Power was out this morning, cooking was out. I made a Ham n Cheese on Rye sandwich, cucumber, tomato, mustard ... then a couple servings of Muscadine grapes ... and a diet orange Crush soda.

I like crunchy stuff, too. The best thing I've found that's not loaded with calories is dry cereal... mostly Kashi rice and wheat flakes, they keep a good variety of flavors. Even some of the throw-back simple cereals like Kix can work... pretty low calorie, enough crunch to get your through, hopefully. Chelseascount…

IMO, best way to lose body fat is to eat more saturated fat, drop carbs, keep at least a 1000 calorie deficit in addition to a regimented workouts (which you should do fasted .... unless you're long distance running) fact of the matter, if you burn more calories than you take in, you're gonna lose body fat... or you'll be…

Not a woman. Overall, from speaking with women through the ages, I've gathered that women are afraid they're going to get big muscles and lose their femininity if they lift weights. I've known some that are even afraid to take vitamins for fear that they're going to get 'swole' or grow chest hair. There are plenty of gyms…

I am not a Lady but I've got a standard comment ;] It is the same for everyone. You should use diet to lose fat and weight lifting/aerobics to shape and tone. If you kill yourself in the gym for 2 hours and then go get a combo meal at McDonalds.. you've more than likely taken in twice as many calories as you've burned.…

The original poster suggested he was irritated by the smug 'clean eaters'... not those who quietly keep to themselves. Regardless of the merits of any diet, we probably all agree that pretentious, pious people can make anyone dismissive. Unless you're the most physically fit person on Earth, there's not much reason to feel…

I tried the gallon-a-day gimmick for weeks... even over twice the recommended daily amount, I saw no significant change in my daily water fluctuation. What it did do was make my stomach hurt.... so even if I saw something I'd usually really like to eat, I didn't want it. Don't like throwing up. That is the biggest benefit…

you'll actually burn more calories if you only eat once a day.. and supposedly you won't go into starvation mode unless you haven't eaten for close to 3 days.. and that only really matters if you're skinny.
-
I've found if you associate sodas with liquid acid candy, you wouldn't be far off and it's a little easier to control yourself.
-
I log unsweeted tea and coffee as water... and I don't log exercise.
-
ha ha ,.. what!? Surely you can read between the lines. When someone continually eats, there's an inference that they're going to take in more calories. Put your dictionary up. People aren't eating more calories at each meal so they don't 'starve', they just eat more often. That's how it is.
-
"starvation mode' is an excuse people use to eat more often. Starving would be good for a lot of people.

This sounds like the fat lady is just mad she was lied to.. if that is, in fact, what happened. The doctor isn't practicing bad medicine, afawk, so really there's nothing left to it but that the fat lady was personally offended. When a person is personally offended and they go to the public with their hurt feelings and…
