Love this thread! My first one came just a few months ago. I was clearing out my wardrobe when I came across a pair of jeans which I hadn't been able to get into since I was about 16 (I'm 23 now). I tried them on just for a laugh, and THEY FIT! They're now back in my regular rotation. :D

I'm about the same measurements as you (36-28-35), and I tend to go for a 12 in close-fitting dresses. Without pictures though, I'm not sure how much help we can be. Is there any chance you could buy a 10 and a 12, try them both on, and send the worse one back?

I'm 5'4". My current weight is about 118/119, and my goal is about 112. I'm technically on 1200 calories a day, but I don't beat myself up too much if I'm under about 1400. My GW might seem quite low to some people, but I have a teeny tiny frame and quite ample boobs, so I'm hoping that a few more pounds might knock me…

I'm not organised enough to do it on a weekly basis, but I do spend a couple of minutes each morning filling in what I know (or am pretty sure) I'm going to eat through the day.

I'm so glad that there's someone else out there!!! I'm about 119 at the moment - which is perfectly healthy, even on the lower end of the scale. However, I would like to lose another 6/7 pounds, and tone up a lot more. It's not that I want to be stick-thin or unhealthy, I just have a very tiny frame, and my body fat % is…

I'm so glad other people feel this way!! I've lost almost 30lbs, but only a couple of inches off my belly. I'm hoping that, now that I'm almost down to my goal weight, more is going to start shifting off it. I have been doing aerobics, which I've heard is good for both cardio and strengthening your core muscles. Even if…

That sounds about right to me too. Without the meat, though, I'm not sure.

I'm 5'4, 118 at the moment, and I still feel huge. My family keep telling me that I look so much better, and isn't it great how slim I'm getting. Logically, I know that's true, because I'm fitting into my size 10 jeans and my size 12 dresses, which is what used to fit when I did think of myself as slim, five years or so…

Go for it! I have a Sunday Roast once a month with my extended family, and I usually treat that as a day when I'm allowed to go a little bit overboard - roast potatoes, a decent helping of pudding rather than my usual little half-portion, that sort of thing. I always log everything, and I rarely go more than 100/200…

Ditto to this. If I want something, I will have it - but I'll work it into my diet rather than considering it a "cheat". 1500 in one meal is a LOT. I'm not sure I could eat that much in one sitting, without it being terribly unhealthy food.

Mine seems to be arms, then legs, then hips/butt, and finally my torso, starting at the back.

SW - 147 lbs - (31/01/11) CW - 118 lbs - (24/01/12) GW - 112 lbs, maybe?

My best friend's mother had one a few years ago (as a 50th birthday present to herself!). She looked amazing afterwards (dropped a good 2 dress sizes with ease), but she does have a very noticable scar. Her skin has always been quite dry and tight though, and her surgeon warned her that it might scar badly. There weren't…

This is my real downfall too! I agree - you have to keep doing things with your hands, anything so that eating becomes a bother rather than easy. I've been sewing and learning to knit, which keeps my hands busy and my mind off food. I also keep a drink beside me, so if I do get those niggling hunger feelings, I have a sip…

Mine says 1238 calories for fat loss - which is near enough!
-
I've lost about 2 stone, and only about 1/2 a cup size (I was slightly bursting out of my 32FFs, but not quite big enough for a 32G, and now my 32FFs are comfortable) - there's really no telling where you're going to lose the most weight. I've really slimmed down in the legs and arms, and lost a decent amount off my belly…

I'm 22 - 23 at the end of the month. I've lost about 27 pounds over the last year or so - so I know how you feel!

I'm 5'4, and currently about 120lbs. At my heaviest, (last year, aged 21/22) I was roughly 147, and utterly miserable with myself. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but I was 110lbs when I was 18/19, and I ballooned during university.

I have a picture of myself five years ago at my School Leaver's Ball (kinda like a Prom) - weighing around 115 pounds, looking completely lovely and happy in my own skin. That's all the inspiration I need, and I'm almost there again. :D
-
I've gained about a pound, but I'm pretty sure most of that was down to dehydration. I've consumed too much salt and alcohol and not enough water this weekend.

My grandmother double-teamed me! A giant bar of Galaxy chocolate (with the "29 calories per piece!") on the front, AND a top *two* sizes too small for me. Wow.
-
Hehe, my (UK) size 10 jeans as well! Every time I button them up without even having to breathe in is the most wonderful feeling in the world. The first time I put on a size 14 dress and it was so loose that I asked the shop assistant if they had a 12! Couldn't stop grinning. :D When my extended family and friends ask me…

Sounds like a scam to me. :(

A well-fitting bra really helps, but I also find that a bit of baby powder (particularly in the mornings and after showers/baths) is incredibly effective.
-
For me, it's my boobs. My bra is a 32FF/G, so the likelihood of getting a top that fits both my chest and the rest of me is quite small. Luckily, there are a few brands that I can work with, but I usually have to wear a vest top to cover up most of my cleavage.
-
Mine has changed a couple of times in the process - mainly because I'm not very good at delaying my gratification. I'm getting better, but it really helps to have small goal that I can reach within a couple of months. First, I just wanted to get my BMI back into the "Normal" range - which only required me to lose about 7…

Hi! I'm Emily - I live in the South-West, near Bristol. Specifically Wells, if anyone knows the area. I'm always happy to make new friends!

I've lost 26 pounds, and gone down only one size in trousers (UK 12 - 10), but three sizes in tops (UK 18 - 12).
