  • Hi. Change is hard. I also have thyroid issues. I am starting today once again. I like MFP it keeps track of the info I need to know. I wish you luck. I also need to lose 50/60 pounds. I go to a nutritionist and feel better, now to get the weight moving off. Good luck to you, Nan.
  • Protein!! Protein is your friend. It keeps you from being hungry and burn fat. There are all kinds of protein you can snack on also. Hang in there. Only you can decide to keep on going or let the over eating win. :) You can do it! Good luck!

  • Protein sizes have increased? A serving should be the size of a deck of cards. There are lots of neat ways to measure your foods when you are out or at home, if you dont have other means. Good luck!
  • I agree with eating the right foods...but lots of fruits= lots of sugar, even if natural its too much..and veggie calories also count. Eat real foods, not fat free or low fat etc.. real foods. Good luck.
  • If you are talking about the Stevia that comes in the bottle with the dropper, I have tried it and I have to agree with the other person here, it taste horrible. You would have to keep using it and acquire a taste for it. I couldnt.

  • I use splenda also. I think tho, the packets are more concentrated than the bulk as the bulk seems to take more to sweeten than the packets. I quit drinking carbonated drinks about a year ago. No longer crave them or sweets. I agree about the new stevia, it doesn`t taste good and seems to take lots more to get something…
  • Ok. I`m still having trouble figuring this out. How do you eat enough calories and not go over the amt of protein? ugh.
