Either, "Are you pregnant?" or "Run some more, fat-*kitten*" while I was running as exercise.

DAMN! I want one or two of those *****es now. I'm a firm believer in not depriving one's self, as long as it's a small amount rather than a binge. edit: Really? I can't say b*tches?

I wouldn't worry about how long it takes. For me to lose 150lbs in a year and a half was REALLY fast. Whether it takes a year or 5 years, just keep going and you will get there.

Here is the link to my updated thread. Basically the same thing but yeah... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1194450-26-months-after-joining-mfp-in-pictures?page=1

Here is my updated 26 month story: (I'll be making a separate thread for this elsewhere since I know a lot of people may miss this post. So since May, I stopped really using MFP, thinking that I could do it all on my own. I gained 42lbs back but... 1. I'm back before my last pair of small jeans stopped fitting. 2. I'm not…

I think a lot of people missed the other post as well. I'm about to make a post of pictures over the last 2 years, including the last few months being off the wagon and one from today being back on it.

So since May, I stopped really using MFP, thinking that I could do it all on my own. I gained 42lbs back but... 1. I'm back before my last pair of small jeans stopped fitting. 2. I'm not giving up on myself because I screwed up. 3. I'm going to stay on this time, lose those 42lbs again and hopefully continue to help others…

I wouldn't even log if you're throwing up. Being sick takes so much out of you as it is. Just get some rest and feel better. Try some chicken broth and crackers or something really light if you can later on.

I just had to come back and say that today I saw my Mom for the first time in about a year and today was the first time in over 15 years that she was able to EASILY put her arms around me and have them overlap for a hug. It felt awesome. :) She looked like she was about to crap herself when she saw me, by the way. That was…

I started posting pictures and didn't really think to be embarrassed until someone else had later said something about how awesome it was that I wasn't ashamed to put myself out there. Then I was like . . . oh. I still put pictures up all the time. Pictures of me in bikinis, on the scale, in the gym, at work, wherever.…

I was waiting for someone to mention that. I still have it. It's just that the screen is shattered into like 5,000 pieces. Sad day was sad. And then I learned to love Android.

This is one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me. Thank you. Hopefully this will carry on into my career as a therapist when I'm done with school.

HIGH FIVE!!!!!! These things are comfy as heck. Amiright?

Probably. I can't say for sure but I can sort of see a little of the same patterns I went through in your post. I would think that by you mentioning your depression, previous attempts and even asking about the possibility of there being an emotional reason; there may very well be one somewhere. For me, my eating disorder…

Yeah. I originally set it to 148.5 but then figured I probably wouldn't be able to do that . . . so I went ahead and set it to 175 so that I wouldn't end up disappointing myself if I only got to that. I don't think a big part of me truly believed I'd even get to that when I first started. I have to say that I was SUPER…

OH! One more thing I'm super excited about . . . I recorded a video last year and made myself promise to not watch it until I hit 148.5lbs. I remember crying my eyes out talking to my "future" self in the video. I haven't watched it yet but have come close. Hopefully I'll watch it within the next few months. 8.9lbs to go…

RIGHT?! lol I keep looking at old pictures and I'm like . . . wtf? I still do wake up in the morning sometimes and expect to see that same girl in the mirror and then I just smile. I'm going to take some more pictures later today to post. I have some stuff that shows more of a loss than the black dress. I'll have to get…

Personally, I stopped counting calories and logging food a while ago once I got used to what my body actually needed. When I was counting though I believe I was somewhere between 1,110-1,800 on most days. The biggest advice I can give is try to stick to your nutritional goals as well as your calorie goals. (Making sure you…

I've still been having people ask me if I've lost weight even after 140lbs. I don't know if it's something people are worried will offend someone by mentioning or what but I do know it can take a whiiiiiile for people to start saying anything. It doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong at all. Just keep with it and you'll…

Nice!!! Hitting a new max is an awesome NSV!

5'8'' / 176 (ish) and I'm a size 11-13.

I still have days where I look in the mirror and don't notice that I've lost anything. . . those aren't super awesome days. As for other people; I think I lost about 70lbs before people outside my immediate support group said anything. It takes time but it'll happen and you'll pretty much feel like you're walking on clouds…

This is how the last 2 weeks went for me: I was 183.6 Then I gained 12 lbs in less than a week. (T.O.M., etc) Then I peed. A lot. . . for like 2 days straight. Now I'm 182 I honestly don't even worry if I gain a few pounds one day anymore. It's normal to fluctuate a tiny bit. You can see that just by weighing yourself in…

I pretty much RAGE to G6 when it comes on my "OMGRUNNNN" playlist rofl. It'll be easier to just post links for some stuff on my playlist that it is to type it all out: I'm going to see this guy in concert tonight, actually... Get By - Delta Heavy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cOt9UcYGOU Reach - Tantrum Desire…

I was at 199 and then life came at me way too fast and I couldn't log in for a day. Sorta sucked but oh well. I'm at 11 right now lol

I know it sounds weird but running in the morning helped me wake up when I was tired all the time. Adrenaline and stuff.
-
You look AMAZINGLY stunning. :) Awesome job!

In the beginning, I worked out 6 days a week. 45-60 minutes of cardio and 45-70 minutes of strength training. I'd do something like: Mon: Legs Tues: Arms Wed: Core And repeat until Saturday and take Sunday off. I did tae bo, kickboxing videos, stationary bike, swimming, dancing and jump rope until I found running. Lately…

Oh and one thing I realllllllly want to emphasize: Please don't expect to lose 100lbs in 8 months or even a year. Everyone loses at different rates and I would honestly hate for anyone to end up feeling let down if they "only" lose 50lbs in a year. That's an AMAZING accomplishment in and of itself. I never set out trying…

That was pretty much my comfort sweater. I thought it looked good on me because it hid everything. It's sort of hard to cover up a lot now though lol. I love sweatpants still though... especially the pair in the 2nd progress pictures. Those things are comfy but they don't hide a lot haha
