I used to use a juicer but have found I enjoy smoothies even more. Also the blender is much easier to clean than the juicer. My favourite smoothie - 1/2 cup of water, 4 large kale leaves, 1/2 cup of carrots and 1 medium apple (cored). Delicious!

When you speak to a counselor you should also consider reporting the teacher's crimes to the police. You are likely not his first abuse nor his last and if he still works in any capacity with children his behaviour will continue. If you don't feel ready to seek out face to face help, this link might assist you:…

For RI30 after 30DS I found levels 1 and 2 to be no challenge. I decided to "start" at level 3 and am enjoying it... or at least I enjoy the shivery, aching muscles afterward.

I feel your pain! I also love wine and if I open a bottle when I get home from work it is gone by bedtime. Wine really does stall my weight loss. I can stay within my calorie goals until that bottle is opened. My current strategy is buying those four packs of little bottles and only allowing myself one per day. Would you…

I LOVE whole wheat pasta but it is less forgiving than white pasta. First, make sure you cook it at a very high boil. Second, test it every minute from 3 minutes before to 3 minutes after the package says it should be done. Also, if you've got hard water like me, it is much more difficult to get right.

I like to juice a medley of vegetables with a single fruit for after my workouts. It can be very high calorie depending upon what you juice. If your juicer is anything like mine, there is plenty of fiber in your juice!

I'm a morning person and my work shift begins at 6. Since I have a long commute, I wake at 3:30 to fit in 20 minutes on the treadmill and a 20 minute workout video. At first it seemed crazy to get up so early... without exercise time I could sleep until 4:20! But I realized that it was much easier to be motivated to work…

You look fabulous! We have similar beginning stats so, if I keep with it, I think I'll have similar finishing stats. I'm on day 4 of level 3. Some people have laughed at me for doing JM videos but you can't knock the results, am I right?

From a broader marketing perspective, vegetarian and vegan meat replacement products are not only for vegetarians and vegans. They are also being marketed to people who eat meat, too, as a healthy alternative and a compassionate choice. By mimicking the meat products that one would find in a meal a consumer finds it easier…

Thank you, all. I should have known you would "get it" and not felt silly about posting at all.

I hate Morningstar and Boca! Try Gardein. They have some lovely "burgers". I like them grilled or seared in a little bit of Zoye oil. Eat on a whole wheat bun with onion, tomato, lettuce, swiss cheese and a little A1 - YUM!

I find Jillian somewhat annoying but I am dripping sweat after the workout... even more than when I run several miles. I have to think it is effective.

I think you need a break from family obligations! You need one hour at least 3 times a week just for YOU. Go get a mani-pedi or hang out with some friends or just read a book without interruption. If you want you can go to the gym or do exercises at home but not if you feel like it is a chore or causes stress. Two rules…

To me healthy = organic and non-GMO. A lot of people don't realize what sort of chemicals and harmful ingredients are in commercially produced non-organic and GMO foods. Eating this way will be more expensive but it will also be less detrimental to your health and the Earth's.

Both dresses are lovely but I think you would really rock the blue dress. The all-over ruching is actually wonderful for disguising a bit of a tummy while emphasizing your glamorous curves!

You look brilliant! Enjoy the convention. The last one I went to I came home with a tribble... and ended up with 35,256.

I've only ever run in minimalist style shoes or completely barefoot. I've never had any of the pains that I've heard other runners complain of. I'd love to try the Vibram. Does anyone know what size I should buy to fit a women's US 6?

Try some peppermint tea to help with your congestive discomfort. Both its anti-inflammatory properties and its status as a natural expectorant should help your lungs. Otherwise, as everyone else has said, take this time to rest up and feel better. Trying to work out while being ill will only postpone your recovery.

I have found that it helps to find a "purpose" that makes you feel good and focus at least an hour a day on it. Maybe you'd like to volunteer to work with underpriviledged children. Perhaps you'd like to walk or train dogs for a local animal shelter. Or maybe read to or play board games with the elderly or disabled at a…

That is amazing! Well done! I'm eyeing some of my dresses in the back of my closet as well. I just finished level 1 of 3DS and have lost a whole inch from each measurement except thighs at .5 inch each. I find Jillian Michaels a little annoying but, at 7 inches down, I'm going to keep doing her workouts!

I saw a few great training tips! The important thing is to know your dog's limits. My pitbull loves a good sprint but would rather backpack and hike long distances. My husky can run FOREVER. If I am going for a long run, I take my husky. If I am going short, sweet and fast I take the pitbull. If we are doing endurance…

Here is another body language tip. If you are at a table or desk, fold your hands on the table so that they are visible. If you are not at a table, fold your hands on your lap. Honest, confident people do not hide their hands. It is okay to use your hands expressively while talking in a subdued fashion but do not make wild…

Great advice given to pay his money back and cut ties completely. If I may add to the advice... Next time he calls, answer like you were on another call and say, "Can I call you back? I was just talking to (insert guy's name)'. Even if you aren't off the market it gives him the idea that YOU are moving on and aren't his…

I really like the idea of sending the flowers afterward! You're quite the gentleman to think of bringing flowers, though. I know I'd be flattered even if I couldn't find a vase.

The worst thing is that depressive cycles often lead to patterns of behaviour that simply increase the depth and duration of the depressive cycle! As much as you don't feel motivated try to force yourself to do some exercise. Some intense cardio will help you produce endorphins which will interrupt your anxious and sad…

In a marriage both parties giving respect to the other is tantamount. So is trust. By distrusting your spouse you are disrespecting your spouse. I have no patience for petty jealousies. If my mate wanted to bar me from some activities simply due to the gender of other participants that would be exceedingly disrespectful…

So, I tend to drink the wine while cranking the tunes while riding the exercise bike. Maybe other people will say this is bad but it sure improves my mood! Sorry about the promo, love. Your opportunity will come.

I came here to do a Dr. Nick joke but you clever people beat me to it!:drinker:
