To wine or not to wine...

I just found out that I didn't get a promotion that I was in line for that has been up in the air for a whole MONTH. I have a bottle of merlot on my counter. Is it feasible for me to justify drinking some? Or am I throwing myself a pity party when I should really get on my exercise bike? But, then, don't I deserve a pity party just for one night? Lol. HELP! Any opinions welcome. Sometimes my judgement isn't the best.

i wouldnt drink it.. then again i dont drink.. but seriously what good will it do you?! alcohol is already a downer.. it will make you feel more down.. and even more down when you sober up because of all the empty calories you drank.
GO WORKOUT!!
endorphins will help make you happy and working out will help take your mind off of it0 -
I would drink some. As long as its only one evening, sometimes you need to do what you want.0

I'd go work out and then come home and have a glass of wine or two. (Unless there's a part to this equation that you're not telling us and you are a recovering alcoholic). There's no harm in a glass or two after a rough day at work and a good work out!0

So, I tend to drink the wine while cranking the tunes while riding the exercise bike. Maybe other people will say this is bad but it sure improves my mood!
Sorry about the promo, love. Your opportunity will come.0 -
I agree with the endorphins first, and wine after the workout if still needed. Sometimes, just sometimes, these things are a blessing in disguise - if you can see it that way.0

I'm in the Middle East and I'm telling you I would punch a baby in the face for a good glass of merlot....an ugly baby, I'm not a total monster.
Seriously though...work hard and play hard. Sometimes I do eat things that aren't consistent with a good diet, but overall I do alright. I have a soda every couple of weeks for instance. Today I am fighting a shin splint...I took the day off and did some stretching and tomorrow I am going to destroy cardio....destroy, without mercy. It has to be done. Maybe I have some kind of pathology...I dunno'. I know there are two version of me....a fat lazy version and winner.....the former can go F himself.0 -
Wine is for celebrations, it'll only bring you down in this instance. The exercise will lift your mood so go for it!0

Have a few glasses then hop on the bike. If you don't fall asleep first that is.0
