Hi there. I'm Lesley from England. I was recently 59 although most days I do not feel it! I have been married since 1975 and have two grown up children. I became a granny recently which is a fantastic feeling and I look forward to getting to know my grandaughter. I stopped work last year after surgery and life is good!…

I swim every day for about an hour. I wear a speedo endurance costume which I just rinse with cold water and then hang it somewhere warm to dry. I find that a costume lasts over a year. Before this I was getting through a costume every month! I wear a hat which I hate but it is the only way to keep my hair looking…

Good luck with your surgery. Do you know what sort of op you are having? I had mine done vaginally 1 year ago. Fibre is very important after the op! I found good old All Bran and figs worked well for me. Listen to your doctor about what you can do after the op and do as you are told as you don't want to wreck your…

Well on Friday it will be 1 year since my hysterectomy so I thought I should join the group! My hysterectomy was a bit of a shock following what felt like an overnight prolapse. I am 58 and had always worked out and tried to eat healthy. I was feeling quite smug that despite all the horrors of the menopause I had managed…

Another challange sounds a great idea! I will be away for half of the month but I will still be able to walk while away hopefully. Bring it on!

Waitrose stock them. They are called Two Chicks and usually found near the butter. They are good for a week once opened.
