Nope! Never

You are here that's the first step! Don't get too overwhelmed by trying to do too many things at once, just do what you can but try to move as much as you can. A fit bit really helped motivate me, because it tells you to move every hour. i can literally sit at work for hours and not move at all. It made me be more…

My scale is ALWAYS up when my muscles are sore. When the muscles are sore they are holding water and it can make even a 2 lb difference. Even with cardio. I do all my weights sat, sun, mon and cardio the rest of the week. If i can take a rest day thursday (my weigh in is on friday) i don't do anything other than walking…

Also, i took a peek at your diary. If you are logging everything you are eating, I would call your diary somewhat impressive! Looks like you are doing a good job. I would stay consistent and drink a lot of water.

i think there can be a lot that contributes to that. I have weeks i hate that i call loading weeks. They are the week after my period where your body is trying to get you pregnant. I can do everything right and still not lose and it's so frustrating. I also agree with others if you are doing things like bootcamps and have…

Oh..i saw others mention ice cream as well. That is a big down fall for me. someone on MFP told me about a brand called chilly cow. It's a low cal ice cream similar to halo top, but actually tastes good. They are also measured out in what looks like half pints. So, you can eat one they range from about 180-200 calories and…

I find that if i work out before dinner and then eat dinner i am always hungry right about 9. I don't want to net too low of calories or not feed my body when i am truly hungry, but i HATE eating late or right before bed. I discovered little ghirardelli bunnies we had in our cupboard from Easter (no they are not expired…

How do you know if you even have leaky gut to begin with?
-
Nice job! That's amazing!

P.s. Search online foods that heal the body and things that balance hormones. It can help your body not to hold onto weight because of hormonal balances.

Nope. Calories are not all created equal. And people will argue and argue and argue on here. Is 1500 calories of twinkies and 1500 calories of 'normal' food all still 1500 calories? Sure! But, will you feel the same and will your body respond the same to all. NO. and i'm sorry, but keto and any other diet is crap. Eat as…

I agree something may not be right. Not every program or style of eating is right for everyone. I try to keep my macros balanced. I feel when people do too low of carbs, too high of carbs and so on and so on that they just end up not being able to stick to it. Eat balanced, be active. You'll do well.

Similar boat! 37, 2 step kids, but no babies. 2 furbabies.

i have heard people say that and i think the reasoning is, it's late in the day and you may or may not burn it off, so your body will store it. But, if you have the urge to eat something sweet is it better to eat fruit or a candy bar. I think making a decision for a natural sugar over something unhealthy is a win every…

Nutrition is really underrated by alot of people on this site. Nutrition matters though. If you are not seeing progress there are reasons why. I would start with nutrition and what you put in your mouth. The rest sounds pretty good, but there is always the are you doing the same thing over and over at the gym? Do you…

I think my personal opinion would be, if you really are eating 1000 calories a day, that is really not enough. Especially with the number of steps you said you are doing. Your body probably does not have the amount of fat reserves to burn off when you are not eating that much. I would up the calories to 1400-1500 a day and…

Well for starters, you look awesome and good job! That's amazing. I would say try a new work out? Or get a trainer. Do something differently that tricks your body. I would try to give suggestions for food changes, but don't see a public diary. Can you add or cut anything differently that would give you a nutritional edge…

Totally agree with you. And people who have not researched just think you're crazy when you talk about this stuff. Or demand "scientific proof" but really where are the studies? They are covered up by the food industry and big pharma, because they dont' want the public knowing it. They want everyone overweight, sick and…

Yeah i am kind of having the same problem. I know i'm not preggo though! I lost 55 pounds 5 years ago, but gained it back and then some. I've lost almost 30 pounds and i feel like all the clothes i used to wear when i was this weight are tight in just the stomach! Super frustrating.

Great job!!! :)
-
Wow! That's amazing. Congratulations. Way to stick to it!
-
Haha...yeah some guy recently asked if i like to be naughty or something like that. Ummm no dude i'm married but thanks.
-
Glad you made it back. I am on a 128 day streak with 27 pounds down after being gone for 4 1/2 years and gaining 70 pounds. Feel free to add me!
-
Because food that is bad for you is horribly addictive! Just as long as you keep trying it's better to do one week of good stuff and fall off the wagon then to never be on the wagon ;)
-
I would agree it's silly to argue with! But, people on facebook think you're crazy once you start talking about it.
-
I haven't lost a significant amount yet, but did in the past and i never had an issue or change with 60 pound loss. You are a pretty good height though....is 145 a healthy weight for you? Sounds pretty healthy to me. I would go to the dr to check it out. You could be around the age where you might see some changes, but…

I hear you. I lost 55 pounds and was in the best shape of my life right before i met my husband 5 years ago. I gained back 70 pounds and now i am trying desperately to get off 90 overall. It helped in the beginning because he was doing it with me, but lucky for him after a few months he is already over 30 pounds down and…

I get slammed for saying GMO's exist and are responsible for tons of health issues involving americans daily

Hmmm...well this is tricky. Since i read your story and view point first, obviously i get what you are saying and can see why you did what you did. That said, i do agree with her and cannot stand when their is 10 empty machines and someone comes literally right next to me. I have a terrible medical condition that makes me…

This debate will go on and on and on and on. I personally agree with you. You may be able to lose weight still eating 1500 calories of twinkies a day as long as you dont go over, but you obviously don't get the same nutrients from it. I wouldn't beat yourself up for eating an ice cream, but i wouldn't have it make up all…
