  • I love BodyCombat, BodyPump, and RPM! I am terrible at working out because I get bored so easily with the generic cardio, so these are my #1 exercises. I like how BodyPump made me unafraid of free weights.
  • At my college, there was a student health center where they provided nutritional counseling for free. Also, in several areas they had listed the calorie/fat/etc contents of EVERYTHING served on campus. I know many colleges do that these days due to an increase of concern for nutritional content. I actually preferred to eat…
  • I can't even do that! Even if I buy the "lite" packs of individual servings of frozen treats/ice cream, I will open and eat all of them!
  • I bring them to work with me on days that I don't have time or are too tired to prepare a meal in advanced. Most of them are around $2 at my local Wal-mart and I prefer them SLIGHTLY more to the SmartOnes. It stops me from eating the horrible pastries we have at the coffee shop.
  • On my college campus, Subway was by far the best dining option available. I got the veggie delite, no meat, no cheese, only vinegar added to it. Low cal, low fat, lots of veggies. I loved when they added spinach to their line-up.
  • I am a meat eater, but I adore mushrooms. I love the Morningstar Mushroom Lover's burger with some sauteed onions and a bit of goat cheese! Sometimes I add a smear of pesto.
  • I'm a Guinness girl, but I Googled and found this website that may help http://fitbie.msn.com/lose-weight/tips/8-tasty-beers-won-t-grow-your-gut

  • I am bad a drinking water when I am not working out, but I have started drinking unsweetened iced green tea at work (I work at Starbucks, so it is free). I go through TONS of it in a day. The doctor recommended I drink a lot of water (or unsweetened tea, because it is mostly water) because I have female bladder issues and…
  • I've been snacking on a sliced up unpeeled cucumber. I dip it in assorted salad dressings, as long as I monitor the nutritional content of the dip, of course. I tend to have some leftover calories and fat so I use 1 serving of Wishbone Italian salad dressing (the regular, not light!) because it only lightly coats the…
  • MFP has me at 1200 calories per day.
  • Cranberry juice is good for UTIs, not yeast infections. Be careful when buying cranberry juice though (and don't bother with cranberry pills, they are made with just the skins and doctors are not sure yet if the effectiveness at preventing [it does not cure it though!] UTIs is through the pulp or skin), because most…
  • I have had a problem with UTI's and yeast infections due to sexual activity and a natural susceptibility to e coli (which causes a large number of UTI's apparently!), but I haven't had a problem since I starting drinking a bit of plain unsweetened kefir every day.
