It can be serious if you don't try your best to fix it. I was basically bathing in alcohol daily for ALOT of years and eating fastfood and not exercising. I was malnourished with various symptoms, fatty liver came up... so, bolt of lightening, I quit drinking,no small feat I may add, and started walking and quit fast food…

I was told when I was put on anti depressants,that you could gain weight as things taste better and you get your appetite back. I actually eat more when Down, maybe try drinking more water, and increasing your protien. It is tough with meds as everyone reacts differently. Good luck and I hope you feel better. Just don't…

Well, you have gone all this time without beer, how do you feel? You know you can go out and have a tonic and lime, or a coke...nothing says you have to drink, that is of course your choice, I just know that over 2 months is a great accomplishment if you were used to drinking...this is coming from a almost 9 month sober…

yes,and I spent many years abusing myself dealing with him. It was hard to get myself together when he left for someone'better' than horrible old me, but even though it has taken me 14yrs to get here....here is where I am and it is awsome. Gotta love yourself, in reality, you are the only one you can always depend on

THAT is why I gained weight and was miserable. Drank,ate junk and fastfood.....It lead to a pretty sad existance and a very unhealthy body. Glad to say,8 months of not drinking,no fast food[drive thrus] and minimal junk...no more med.s, ashape other than round,health excellent. That is Alot of drinking and eating junk over…

If you have one really bad habit,like fast food,coke every day, alcohol, just giving up that worst thing will help you to your goal... good luck

I don't know if you live by an aldis store,or a bargin grocery store, but frozen vegetables,peanutbutter,eggs,some frozen chicken,are all great to keep in the fridge to help your menu. Oatmeal with frozen fruit,yum... It is fall,so you may get a month of produce at reasonable prices...take advantage and go into your diet…
