Vanilla ice cream flavored protein powder + coffee + ice. Taste like one of the fancy iced coffee drinks. I do not add milk, but I am sure it would taste even better with milk.

The best tasting one for me is SYNTHA-6 vanilla ice cream, makes the best tasting smoothies and I also add it to coffee sometimes. The other one I use is UMP Chocolate.

If I use a pound of turkey, I just say it will be 4 servings, and when it is ready, then I measure and divide in four equal parts either by weight or cups.

It depends how closely you want track your calories. You could do 2 for one day to establish a baseline, then use it to estimate calories for the other days.

I still think you could make the slow cooker work for you. Ether throw everything in it before going to bed, and let it cook while you sleep or start it when you get up and cook on high for 4 hours.

Slow cooker may just be what you need, most recipes only require measuring skills. I make a lot of chicken recipes in my slow cooker.
