The weight loss didn't slow it down, the Clomid did :( I really hate it

I don't do paleo but that is a VERY low amount of Met. When was the last time you had your levels checked? 2000 mg is the standard.
-
I did my son, I had gotten under 200 lbs and it just happened. When I had my daughter I had been on Met for quite awhile and then stopped. I was again under 200 lbs and BAM super suprise pregnancy. If you are IR you are going to have a very hard time loosing weight with out taking something to regulate that. GOOD LUCK!

Nothing really going on here. My 35th birthday is coming up, if I don't get a BFP this cycle I am going to ask my gyno for a referral to a specialist. Hubby's numbers are good. He has to go back in August for a check..

That could be a good sign! Pain on just one side could be a sign of ovulation! In some women you will get cramps or s stabbing pain on the side you realse the egg from :) I get it every month now that I am ovulating :)

Most of my life I went with only having a period once a year. I take 1500 mg of Met and it has helped with the weight loss but not with my periods. My periods and ovulation are normal now because I have lost enough weight for my body to allow it to happen. I took Met before my daughter and I lost 90 lbs ( gained most back…

Yeah, you can buy it in vitiman isle in pill form. :)

I've never heard of that before.. Since they won't help you I would try Cinnamon as well. That helps stablize sugar. GL!

Congrats!

Truddy that sucks! I spoke to DH last night and he said he is going to talk to his sister.. His sister has goats and BIL is so flipping concerned that something might happen to them that he won't stay gone from the house long.. If he housed said goats correctly he would not have to worry about coyates, but hey what do I…

I had read about it a while back, I but I didn't know what it did.. Im glad that there is something out there that can help and we dont have to try IUI or IVF cuz if we did we would just not have any more kids..

HI guys! Great idea, we need more activity in this group :) I'm doing well, getting excited about Christmas, just wish my SIL wasn't selfish! She lives about 1/2 hour away out in the middle of no where.. We always have to drive down there for the holidays and that woman can not cook! Normally I make all the sides just so…

Clomid didn't work for me, they upped it and still didnt work. Once I lost enough weight I have started Ovulating on my own again so once Hubby's issue is resolved we should be good to go..

I split my meal with my husband, and I don't eat the bread on the table.. Drink water, and I also try to make sure that if I am going out that I think ahead with my other meals to make sure that I can actually enjoy going out

I'm not on them and hopefully once hubby's issues are fixed I wont need them but I wanted to wish you the best of luck!! and you should def. get hubby checked!!! I thought it was all me and come to find out it was him as well.. It could be something super simple to fix too..

If it doesn't come I'd ask for the medication that makes you have one.. I cant remember the name... Prevera or something like that.. That is what my doc gave me when I would go almost a year with out one. GL!

Met is a great drug. My son is getting put on it and his endocrinologist said something that made a lot of sense.. He said that he noticed that the people that eat a good diet have less side effects then people with a greasy bad diet. I take it and have had no issues with it but my ex-husband tried taking it for diabetes,…

Went to the specialist yesterday :) He has an infection in his prostate so he was started on meds for that. The doc said that the prostate is what gives sperm their nutrition so if there is issues with it then the sperm will be unhealthy. He also told him no spicey food, no more MT Dew or caffene and to cut back on the…

Such a great question! I was one it for 3 months when I was around 240-250 along with the met and I only Ovulated once. My doc told me that if after 3 months on it she would have to refer me to a specialist.. I decided to try the weight loss route first.. I go see her again on Friday so lets she what she has to say now…

Hi there, Welcome to our club LOL. There is a lot of information out there about PCOS.. I have had it for most of my life, but dx'd with it after I had my first child. When dealing with TTC and issues that are causing infertilitly it is best to be honest with your spouse so they can help you through it. There is a lot of…

HI there, I take met and it really has helped my cycles ( along with the weight loss) I tried Clomid with no sucess but I believe that is because I was well over 200 lbs. I see my doc again on Nov. 1st to see what the next plan of action is. We have been TTC for 2 years but not proventing it for 3 years... GL!

Hello! I have 2 kids 13 and 5 and I am TTC again since I have been remarried and my new husband wants a child of his own. I know my weight is a huge part of infertility. I am now under 200 so I'm hoping for a BFP soon. Hubby just went to get tested just in case he is the problem but I doubt it is. GL!

Also make sure they check your thyriod. If thats off, then your cycles will be as well and you will loose hair. Having your thyroid in check will also help you stay pregnant once you finally get your 2 pink lines.

Hi there, If you are TTC, I would talk to the doc about getting you off the BC and on to Metformin. It will help your periods and with your weight loss. I would have a period every 6 months and it was horrible. Once I lost about 30 lbs they started getting more normal and now that I have lost 50 lbs I am having completely…

When I have to much salt I bloat really bad, and my weight goes up.. If you like soy sauce get the lite kind, it has a lot less sodium in it. They make low sodium stock as well. Like the otthers said, try salt alternitives, like Ms. Dash.. Good Luck!

Hi there! Eggs are a poor mans friend :) they are cheap and great protien. ALso try lentel soup.. Just put in lentals, veggie or beef broth and what ever veggies ( maybe a bag of frozen mixed veggies?) and let it cook for a few hours in the crock pot or on low on the stove. If it is just you, then this could stretch for a…
