This is my go-to smoothie recipe: 1/2 cup kale 1/2 cup Spinach 1 cup Carrot juice* 1/2 Apple (with skin) 1 frozen Banana 1 small container greek yogurt (I use Chobani Simply 100 Strawberry) 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (I buy the big tub of Fage 0% plain/unflavored) *I buy my carrot juice from the grocery store near the…

I love tacos! It's one of my favorite dinners. When it comes to tacos, I really love grinding my own chicken breasts. The ground chicken you often buy in stores (unless labeled 97-99% fat free) has skin ground in with the meat. I buy boneless, skinless chicken breasts and trim the fat off. Then I cut them into 1" cubes and…

I totally agree, OP. I think shaming women for breast implants is similar to shaming them for being too skinny or too fat. A woman is a woman is a woman. She is whole no matter what size her breasts are (or what they are made out of). I also think this kind of thought process (that breast implants equal bad or shameful…

I'd recommend Power 90. If you're worried about not being able to complete P90X or Insanity without getting discouraged and quitting (this was a huge worry for me), you should definitely do this program first. It's basically the precursor to P90X, with Tony Horton as the trainer in Power 90 as well. I am on day 61 of Power…

In my experience, Level 2 is actually harder than Level 3. Level 2 kicked my *kitten* every time. After doing Level 2, Level 3 was a breeze. Just some food for thought! Also, I always took a rest day doing the 30DS. I've heard that Jillian says on her podcast that she intended for the program to be used in tandem with rest…

I completed the 30DS a month ago and am on Day 10 of Power 90 (it is the precursor to P90X). So basically, it's P90X for beginners. I am really enjoying the workout. It's a bit monotonous - but if you got through the "same-workout-day-after-day" with the 30DS, you'll be just fine doing Power 90 - as it is 2 workouts (1…

Wow. I am glad there are so many people excited about this recipe! Thanks! There are 11g of sugar per serving. Also, if you want to take a closer look at the nutrition, you can view it here: http://www.badassey.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/SesameChickenNutrition.png (It's just a screen shot of my MFP recipe. I tried to…

This is incredibly disordered eating. Please, please never eat less than 1200 calories a day. What you are doing is not healthy, nor is it sustainable. Take care of yourself and eat at least the minimum that MFP is telling you to.

Thanks! It's one of my favorite dinners. You can literally throw it all together in 20 minutes. So delicious!

Aw, thanks! I am curious, now, if the technology within the armbands differ (Core vs. Link). Or maybe I just sleep like a weirdo because it never seems to accurately log my sleep. Glad it's working out for you, though! I do not do a lot of strength training, so I cannot speak from personal experience. But to learn more…

I love my BodyMedia Fit. Syncing between MFP and the BodyMedia Fit is awesome! I actually just wrote a whole blog post about it. You can see it here: http://www.badassey.com/my-bodymedia-fit-link/

I agree. 2oz of sauce is 1/4 cup. I guess, to me, 130 calories for 1/4 cup of sauce is not really light on the calories. For others, this may be a good recipe. But I think I'll steer clear. Sounds yummy, though!

Day two today for me, as well! Just finished the workout. Man, oh, man are my legs tired. They feel great, though. A little sore but the workout helps to loosen them up.

First time posting here, so be gentle! For dinner tonight I had sesame chicken, brown rice and green beans. It was awesome. ~500 calories for the whole meal. Sesame Chicken recipe from here (it was delish, I super duper recommend it): http://www.food.com/recipe/healthy-sesame-chicken-82915
