  • Yeah, I think losing weight is one of the number one New Years resolutions. That's a good goal, we'll be rooting for you here!
  • So what were your New Years resolutions this year?
  • So how was everyones Holiday week? I haven't had a chance to weigh myself because my significant other moved the scale and doesn't know where he put it. I hate moving because everything changes places a million times before it finally finds it's home.
  • Christmas is tomorrow! Keep your goals in mind but remember it's a day for celebration so allow some calories for a nice piece of pumpkin pie. I lost 3 lbs this week! I think my 140.6 from last week might have been due to my time of the month. But I'll still record it  Last week: 140.6 Current: 137.6
  • Congratulations! That's an amazing achievement.
  • athomemommy, Kristinbee, baylou, ntumparov, and lizard: Hang in there guys. This is definitely a time year where we all get busy and it's tough to keep track of what we are eating. I started to keep track of the calories even for my worst days, and it motivates me to look at my report and go "Wow, look at how much I ate on…
  • Thanks Nickt! It always takes me a while to get in a routine. I'll get there.
  • Hello Everyone! Sorry about the lateness of this post. Our internet went down at home and I've been very busy at work. Christmas is so close I can almost touch it. That's because there are Christmas cookies and goodies everywhere here at work. Perhaps you've noticed that I haven't been posting my weight's lately. That's…
  • We are slowly making our way towards Christmas. Check-in when you get the chance!
  • I guess it all depends on how much drama you want in the work place. The most straight forward thing to do is to say. "Hey guys, I'm on a diet and trying to stay healthy, would you mind keeping all the extra junk food in the lunch room?" No need to be mean or rude just be honest. Personally, I think this is the best way to…
  • Mehughes: I know how you feel. The food that other people don't want to eat (donuts, pizza, candy) always ends up in the Kitchen/lunchroom which is right across from my office. Too bad I have to go in there to get my lunch. Why don't you just move the food to the lunch room yourself? After it's been there a couple minutes…
  • Kristinbee: Sounds like you had a tough week. Lets put all those bad moments in the past. There done and over with. No need to worry and fret about them any longer. I know how it feels when you have a challenging week. You want to erase it all by beating yourself up at the gym. So next time, when you go to the gym after a…
  • Borjanap: I think smessersmith has a good point in that you may need to change up your exercise routine. That doesn't mean stop running. Just try a few things differently. Change up length of running. Do you do many anaerobic work outs? Perhaps throw in lifting weights or doing leg lifts in between short sprints of…
  • Hi all, I'm 5' exactly. I fluctuate between 135-138 currently. I would love to get down to 120 pounds. 120 is a good weight for my frame but ideally I just want to be at a healthy BMI. 20 BMI would be awesome
  • Nicole: Another 2 pounds congratulations! Keep up the momentum and you'll be at your goal weight in no time. Deanea: 3.5 pounds by the 21st should be no problem if you just stay healthy and exercise. Lollyblonde: Welcome to the site! You have half the equation squared away, exercise. You already have the determination to…
  • One more week! Lets see that weight loss! Maybe I should come up with something witty to say for each weeks new post. I haven't been posting my weight cause I keep forgetting to check it in the morning! I'll do it soon, I swear. I haven't been keeping track of my calories very well either. Which may be another reason why…
  • Yay! Inches! Keep it up Mechanicmom!
  • Congratulations Athomemommy and icandoit! Those are awesome successes for such a food filled weekend.
  • So how did everyone do? Post your weight whether you did well or gained a couple. Thanksgiving weekend is over and Christmas is right around the corner.
  • Thanksgiving weekend is coming up ladies and gents. So keep your wits about you and don't over do it too much. Post away! Forgot to weigh myself this Monday so I'll have to post my weight later.
  • Here's the thread ladies and gents. Sorry I didn't post replies on last weeks thread. I've been busy moving into my new house. Apparently moving boxes and cleaning increased my metabolism enough for me to lose a couple pounds ;) Last week: 137.8 This week: 135.8 Total loss this week: 2 lbs Post no matter what, it's good…
  • Congrats! Keep up your momentum.
  • Thanks! It wasn't too much of a surprise. But like I said, that's what I'm here for. To make myself more accountable.
  • Well it's another bright and shiney week. I hope everyone had a great time. As for myself: Gained: 2.2 lbs Current: 138.8 Ouch, I knew this week would be a rocky one but man. This is why I joined the site to make myself more aware of what I'm eating. We had an unexpected visitor this weekend so we ate out for almost every…
  • Redalee: That's 12 pounds in 17 days! You're going strong. Keep up the good work and momentum. Niccole: 1/2 lb loss is still a loss. This should give you the motivation to be strict this week so that we can all see you hit that 10% mark soon  Keep up the momentum. Ahh, Margaritas...that's one of the things that I…
  • Cheryl, Cool! No need to apologize. I think sometimes it's hard to know peoples intentions when we are writing down our thoughts. They say that body language is 3/4's of our spoken communication. I didn't think you meant much by it. But thought I'd cover my bases anyway ;)
  • Zara cooper: Congrats on losing what looks to be 3 lbs or more. Isn't it exciting when you see big loses like that! Naj: Wow, 6 lbs, that's an awesome loss. Keep up the good work, even when your going to be gone from the forum! Highway 48: Just think you are 1 pound closer to a smaller you! 1 pound isn't anything to sneeze…
  • Cheryl, Check out my explanation in the website suggestion forum. I'm sorry if I'm stepping on your toes. I think Niccole explained things better then I could. I just thought this would be an expansion of your already great idea.
  • Hi all, I'm pretty new to the forum and got an idea from cmriverside's post about being held accountable. I thought it would be nice if we all posted our weekly progress i.e. I lost 1 lb this week or gained 2 lbs or if you prefer keeping track with measurements you can post your measurements. It's just to keep people up to…
