They can make whatever "charitable" contributions they want, and I will continue to point out my objections to these charitable contributions as long as they continue to make them, because I am entitled to do so.

I seriously doubt most people take issue with the fact that they are closed on Sundays, and are vocal about their Christianity. Good for them. I personally take issue with their political contributions, as well as their denial of the inherent purpose and implications of said contributions.

Expressing an opinion and disseminating publicly available information about a corporation =/= intolerance.

No need to be condescending. She has every right to express an opinion, especially when it's about a company who shamelessly spends millions of dollars every year to promote intolerance.

Recently moved to Jersey, but before that I spent 5ish years bouncing around a variety of crappy Allston/JP/Boston/Brookline apartments. So, yeah, sort of! hah

Exactly. Also, if you're in college and honestly expecting another college student who has no income and probably a lot of debt to pay for your stuff, or to be able to regularly afford to go out even, you probably need to reevaluate your priorities.

Yup. All of my lady friends drink beer. And all of my guy friends prefer a woman who orders a Sam Adams over one who orders a vodka cranberry. In fact, a lot of the women I know (myself included) have been on at least one date at the Sam Adams brewery tour. Judging someone on their preferred drink is pointless. (But I…

Actually, they are terrible arguments, as they provide no factual basis for these statements which are clearly pulled out of their *kitten*.

If it doesn't have any bearing on your life, then fine, although it raises the question of why you felt the need to start a discussion about it on a public forum. But at the end of the day, some young person's life might actually be changed for the better by such a prominent media personality coming out, so yes, it's big…

That happened to me on a date! And the nurse tried to tell him that the pink eye was actually an STD and that I gave it to him. Um, hi, what? So. Awkward.

Luckily, this mostly happened when I lived in Boston, where most of my friends were also huge literature/film nerds, so it never seemed to phase anyone haha.

I have high hopes for the movie. It was written/directed by Chobsky, so you have to figure he'll get his own stuff right, you know? But we'll see.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Stephen Chobsky First read it when I was about sixteen. It spoke so perfectly to that feeling of being a teenager and just feeling so lost and confused about everything in your life. It was the first time I ever felt like I wasn't weird or alone. I wouldn't say it's my all time favorite…

Lately I've been eating a whole wheat english muffin (about 5 grams of protein) and some peanut butter (about 8).

Hey all. First time really posting here, but I have a few things I'm really excited about and needed to share haha 1. Saturday morning when I woke up I was super tired (by which I mean, slightly hungover after overindulging in both beer and some not great foods on Friday) and desperately didn't want to go to the gym.…
