I am in for 50 miles in April. This will be a total of walking/jogging as I am training my body to jog straight, but I still do a lot of walking right now. Thank you for this opportunity!!!

I am enjoying Just Dance 3. Not sure it is the best workout compared to others, but it is fun and my kids love dancing with me.

That makes sense. I am not good at eating every two hours. As a teacher, it is not really fair to eat in front of my students. However, I do need to make sure I have healthy 100 calorie snacks. I prepackage some trail mix to 1 serving size, but I need to find some other options. I will try the fruit.

I struggled with W2D1 but tonight I really enjoyed W2D2. I moved much faster tonight and it felt really good (a little sore - but the good kind!!)

Not a midlife crisis - what I like to call "finally putting yourself first"!! All moms (and I am sure many dads) I know struggle with this and sadly weight and health seems to be the first thing gone. Even now, if I want to work out, it is at 4:30 am or after 9:00 pm because that is when I am not at work or have children…

Question - How do you eat back half the calories you lose in a work out? Are there specific foods you eat to assist with that? I am trying to find the best way to do that. This is my first time counting calories so I am not sure the best way to do everything. Thx!

I am in! Last week I did about 150 and counted my calories with great success. I would love to see what happens if I am able to double my minutes!! Now I just need to figure out how to stop time to find some extra minutes......... lol

I am thinking about putting some money aside for clothes or accessories I want but will not spend my money on. I figure as I lose weight, I will want to spruce up my wardrobe (it is very boring right now). I have not put anything into place yet. But I do like your dad's idea........

My plan is to watch calories (have not done that in years) and start exercising. I am doing C25K and playing Kinnect with my daughters. After a month or so, I am going to look at everything and readjust as needed. I figure that is when I will hit my first major plateau. Good Luck everyone!!!

I was wondering the same thing this morning before I left. I went slow last week and felt tight during most of my walks/runs. I made sure I stretched today and decided to try Week 2. It felt great!!! I did give my self two days between times, but I really enjoyed today!!

I started week 2 today. I was amazed at the difference in distance from last week I went. Of course that might be due to the downfall of rain about half way through - lol
