I run and favor the elliptical on other days. Also trying the weight lifting thing but a friend tells me I am not trying hard enough or lifting heavy enough to make a difference

Cost wise I am leaning towards Planet Fitness, but i know they have received some negative press of late. Its just the one with no 100 dollar out of pocket fee I have found so far

Not so sure I count as a runner. 5k time is 34 mins roughly. May try my first 10k this summer if i don't chicken out. Picked out a half marathon in September I would love to try. I totally need advice!

Will do my 2nd workout A today....i lost my gym card on my first visit I know i suck. Still cant really wrap my head around feeling nervous or embarrassed in the weights part of our tiny gym

I manged 30 for the squat and only 10 for the step up. Not sure about the row weight was not labeled in a way i understood

Finished my first day yesterday. The step ups kicked my *kitten*. I have no balance! I am worried I used to light a weight because im not super sore this morning. The BF did laugh at me wondering around the gym with a book but whatever. How did everyone's first day go i wonder?

I am starting this today with my cute tiny free county gym. There is no Swiss ball but have one at home so will run home to do that. Any suggestions would be great this is frankly scary to me. I have read the book and printed out the form for stage one work out A and B.
