Drink more water! sounds hokey, but works! A lot of "Hunger" pangs are your body wanting water. if you drink a glass of water when you feel the urge to eat, then wait a few minutes, more often than not the hunger will go away!! it works for me as I do this ALL the time!! it helps keep me on track!!

I have lost 30 pounds with just walking/hiking as my exercise! start slow, do maybe 2 miles a day to start and work your way up! Im up to 8 mile hikes on the weekend in less than 2 hours! so you can lose if you stick to it!! (started 3 days a week, now obsessed with 5 to 7 days a week!!!!)

Get some rest. And try not to be so tough on yourself! get well, stay with in your calorie intake and you wont gain! I recommend making a stew with chicken for when your sick. VERY low calories and LOTS of good vitamins!!

Have an apple or other piece of fruit. My idea is to have something in your stomach for your body to begin the digesting process. you need to "break" your fast. I think if you eats a little something every couple hours, your metabolism keeps running and will burn calories.

Not really, I have a long term goal, and the short term successes motivate me to continue. For myself, I feel like I let myself down if I eat something with excessive calories. Do what feels right for you!! I try my best to keep my calorie intake to my goal level, whether or not I exercise. I find that for myself, if I use those burned calories up, I dont lose weight.
