  • I eat 1600 calories a day and I'm losing weight. You are doing nothing to help yourself gain. You have to eat your calories and make sure they are good healthy ones, not junk food.
  • I love super tall guys too but mostly to look at and fantasize about. I married a 6 footer and he's great. But I look at guys like Trace Adkins, Duncan Regehr, Kevin Sorbo...not super tall but tall enough! Yum!
  • Yep, 5'9" and if anything I would like to be a couple inches taller. Then once I get rid of all the fat, I'll go buy myself some hooker heels, a short dress in a leopard print, get an 8 inch beehive hairdo and walk around like Elvira on drugs! :noway:
  • I would be happy just getting back to around 170 lbs back when I was around 35. This was only after a lot of working out, biking, etc., but now I am almost 63, I"m not about to go nuts like that. Exercise 3-4 times a week for me would be GREAT!
  • I want that body too but probably not for the same reason. ;)
  • You forgot cheese curds--deep FRIED cheese curds! LOL! Thanks for the welcome everyone!
  • Looking great! Congrats!
  • That's great, but awfully fast. Please be careful--there is a reason why most experts suggest losing no more than 2lbs a week--our bodies just can't handle it that easily. Richard Simmons lost 100 lbs in a month and it nearly killed him--he wound up in the hospital and lost all his hair, so that's implants on his head. But…

  • Hello Saskia, Oshkosh is a very fine little city of around 60000 people. It is named after a local indian chief from long ago. It is famous for the Experimental Aircraft Association, which has a huge convention every year and people from all over the world including Germany fly in to experience it. Ask any pilot about the…
  • I am starting OVER again after abandoning exercise years ago and begin binge eating off and on. BUT when I was successful at it, I measured in inches, NOT pounds. Muscle is heavier, as we all know so as long as you are losing INCHES, you are making progress. I have just started exercising again but being a lot older now,…
  • I WAS in Madison for almost 30 years. North side, east side, west side, south side, downtown--I've lived everywhere! LOL! But I live in Oshkosh now, via Kalamazoo, Michigan, back to Madison, then to Los Angeles, CA and after that, Urbana, IL. Funny how life takes us in circles!
  • Hubby does most of the cooking and we don't have gravy except maybe once a year! But the meat and potatoes are still on the table, just not the pies and cakes! LOL!
