I am 5'3" and feel way too short. I wish I was closer to 5'6". My husband and his family are all tall, so I always feel really short around them. My kids are all taller than me, one got her father's height.

I've always wanted to be taller. I'm the shortest in my family by at least two inches ... and that includes my grandmas!

That said, I am 5'8.5 ... so I realize I'm not exactly short, but when three of your siblings are 6'+ it kinda sucks.

I’m 5’9 and almost always in heels so I walk around 6’0 and proud of it!
  • I'm 6'5", finding appropriate seating is the biggest pain, literally. In high school i had to lift my desk and place it on my lap. I went to a concert months ago, and had to sit on the isle stairs.

Not especially. At a hair under 5' 7", I feel pretty short for a grown man. Besides, if I were a few inches taller, my BMI would be in line with a healthy weight!

I wish I was little bit taller,
    I wish I was a baller
I wish I had a girl who looked good
    I would call her
    I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
    and a '64 Impala

I'm 5'7" - on the shorter side for a guy. And I hate it. Though I'll admit I've got some issues with self-esteem that go beyond my (lack of) height.

I'm 5'9" which I don't mine.... except when I'm standing next to my 5'5" tall husband!

Yep, 5'9" and if anything I would like to be a couple inches taller. Then once I get rid of all the fat, I'll go buy myself some hooker heels, a short dress in a leopard print, get an 8 inch beehive hairdo and walk around like Elvira on drugs! :noway:

Love being 5'8''!!! I hold my weight well. I'm tall enough without heels but can wear them and not feel like I'm completely towering over everyone :) I have 4 sisters who are all about 5'3'' so not sure where I came from, but I'm happy that I'm tall! If I could change my height, I wouldn't.

Hah, this is something you'll have to eventually come to terms with. It wasn't always this way, but I've fully embraced being 5'1".
Makes it easier, as I'm a stiletto fiend

The boyfriend's pushing 6'4"...we make an interesting pair, that's for sure

I'm 5 7 1/2 I have been this height since 5th grade. I hated it then. I was even taller than my teacher. I remember the first day I walked into high school, I thought finally someone is taller than I am! I'm fine with it now. My husband is 6'3" and calls me his shorty.

I'm 5'6 and 3/4 of an inch. I used to hate that, but now...I think I actually want that extra 1/4 of an inch. I dunno. I grew up thinking men hated tall women...and it still kind of seems that way (the short girl always wins, blah) but if I was a 1/4 inch taller, it'd make me feel a little better about the amount that I weigh lol.

6' and yes, i LOVE it! Even more when I'm rocking a pair of heels!!!

ETA - the boyfriend is 5'8" and he loves it when i rock the heels too. Yay for secure men!
    Love it!

I'm 5'9" and like shorter guys, even if they're only shorter because I'm rocking a pair of stilettos.

I'm 5'8...I love it, I wouldn't change it..I enjoy being tall and like wearing heels but I also like that I can wear flats and not feel like a midget.

My height is fine. I just don't care for my proportions. My legs could be about 2" shorter. I have long legs for a man.

At 5'5", I feel too short to be this heavy, especially when I stand next to my daughter, but I think it's a good height.

I love being short! I feel like I have to work extra hard and watch more carefully what I eat if I want to stay trim, but I have never had a problem being just 5 ft. Except when I'm trying to reach the vinegar waaaaaay in the back of the highest cupboard in the kitchen...

Plus the husband is only 5'7", so I can wear hooker heels without being taller than him, but also not look freakishly short next to him in flats.

At 5' 6" not the shortest guy in room but usually close to it. Wouldn't mind being taller but since I work with computers, crawling around under desks has its advantages when short.

Nope. Under 4 11. Would prefer a few more inches for sure. So many things are just that much harder. Can't even pick a car I like for the car... has to be for the 'seeing ok and reaching pedals without hitting the steering wheel'.
Plus, I don't get squat for calories. lol

the plus side is people seem to think you're younger. Not sure how much longer that will last
