I got back from 6 and a half Months in Afghanistan only to find most of my friends had left me! I guess they thought I was inactive. Add away...

I don't want to do deadlifts if i'm training delts and traps, if at all! Saying that, Army gyms and civilian gyms are completely different. I'm one of the only guys in our gym who actually trains legs, everyone is put off due to how much running we do. Re; deadlifts, a lot of people (myself included) have temperamental…

Shrugging in the squat rack is actually acceptable IMO. I go really heavy on my shrugs, and I don't plan on having to do deadlifts every time I want to hit my traps.

To be fair, after shoulder pressing two 40kg (90lb) dumbells for a good 8 reps, attempting to place them heavy *kitten* weights down can potentially **** up my shoulder. Attempt to place them? Or drop them from a reasonable height because they're rubber?? Though I do get your point, there are definitely right and wrong…

After getting 'in the zone', I approach the gym after taking my bcaa's, caffeine and 'textbook' pre workout meal, ready to destroy the place.... Then it's closed because of unforeseen circumstances.... Leaving me with a 10mile drive to the nearest base so I can use their comparably inadequate gym, by which time my…

The one near where I live has lots of dumbells, though limited in the weight... It has two squat racks, a smith machine, about 10 benches, about 5 olympic bars and free parking

True, apparently it's not 'manly' to count your macro's, but **** it

infact, it may be worth you buying a swiss ball, this will help add even more variety to the workout, it will allow you to change the angles you're performing exercises at, give you a nice way to do crunches... loads more. They're quite cheap too

Calisthenics, which is pretty much just a fancy name for exercises done using your body weight, for example: -Push ups -Sit ups -Crunches -Planks -Dips -Pull ups -Squats -Lunges -Calf raises -Star jumps/jumping jacks -Burpees The list goes on. Do these in a circuit format and with a decent level of intensity and you'll get…

It's a site where most people have an interest in some aspect of fitness, or at least aspire to. I give people advice every now and then... I'd like to think that my physique helps add some credibility to my advice, though I realise it doesn't necessarily work that way.

Harsh, but that made me lmao!
-
The only people who complain about it being slightly flirtatious at times is those who don't get any.. Simple!
-
Exactly, nice legs btw! :p Lol
-
... But they have a **** load of plates, which is how i get around it
-
They're actually quite decent. I use it when i'm away from my barracks for more than a few weeks as there is no minimum term contract. Only downside is that the dumbells only go up to 36KG. Make sure you search online for a promotional code though, I recently used one which had no joining fee which saved me about £25

Someone who I can trust, who could be pretty much my best friend, and who'd be adventurous enough to join me on any random pursuits; i.e. last minute 'lets drive to France' ideas and such. Also, ideally someone who isn't too heavy on drink and who'd respect their body in the same way that i'd respect them. Ah well. Feel…

Try 15 minutes at the start as a warm up, then weights training, then additional cardio at the end if so desired. It's no good using up a load of energy before conducting heavy lifts. Also, how is your pre workout nutrition?

Patella tendinopathy in my left knee. First picked it up whilst cycling around 2 years ago - It seems to come and go periodically which suggests that it never fully healed in the first place. I still carry on as usual, though try to stick to non impact CV if it feels particularly vulnerable on any given week. I really…
