I find I've made friends through my kids sports or at child care etc which isn't associated with the school. That's better, I think.

I find most people aren't friendly these days. Gym or no gym, man or woman. Each to their own. Just do you :)
-
Good on you Mummagrape :)
-
Adelaide here too. I need to re focus & get some active members back on my FL

You look great & you give me hope :)

Bump, so I can read later :)

You look great. Well done.

I find winter the best time to knuckle down. Lots of soup. Filling & not that many calories. As for exercise, it can be hard to get motivated, but, once you get out there, you will feel better for it. Yesterday it was 40km winds & a bit chilly, I still managed a 2 hour walk :) You can do it.

Very pretty flowers

I have a pool & sometimes I have the "it's too much hassle to get changed into swimming gear, get changed out of swimming gear". I do enjoy it though. I'm definitely not confident to go to a public pool though. I hear aqua classes are really good. Maybe one day, when I'm 79, I might try it :)

Perhaps go into the store & see if they have the thing on display? Check it out, see if it appears flimsy? Alternatively, if you can afford it, hire one, just in case it ends up collecting dust.

I lost weight without exercise before, I just stuck to 1200-1300 calories. Took me about 6-7 months to lose about 55lbs.

Half cup of egg whites, 1 egg, a bit of ham, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach & some cheese then grill it. Yummo.

Nope

Way to go. Looking good.

My partner argues with me that walking on the spot is not the same lol. Sometimes I do it just to get my steps in (goal)
-
I sent you a fitbit request @christinev297

I'd say it sounds ok if you are fit & healthy. If you are concerned, definitely seek medical advice from a medical professional

I was going to say food of any kind, but, I'm going to go with SLEEP

Change when you get to work. Get a HUGE umbrella. I have one that keeps me really dry (apart from my shoes). If you don't want to rock the gum boots, wear some old shoes. I go for a walk in my lunch break & I always take my sneakers to change into.

I'd love to join you Christine, but, you would leave me for dead!!!!!
-
That is totally acceptable :)
-
Wow. Good luck. Sounds like you are in a great place at the moment. Keep going :)

I often wondered about this..Once I did a lot of stair climbing & it barely registered any on my fitbit & then on days I do no stairs, it tells me otherwise!
-
Great work.

I try to do something 6 days a week....I usually always aim for my fitbit goal, which would be about 45-60 mins of walking. I'm trying to get back into doing weights. I just don't love them :( My problem is...I exercise & then I eat back  So, I think I personally should just focus on my eating for now.

Well done on reflecting back on your diary & accepting what you have been doing rather than continue on & say "I really don't know why or what I'm doing wrong" like a lot of people do. Good luck with staying focused :)
-
You can't

There are plenty of us :)

Wow Christine, you are a machine! Do you have an active job?
