Beading and making necklaces. Keeps me busy, and I don't eat when I am not supposed to.

Great Job! Just be sure you NEVER feel deprived. That is the difference between a DIET and a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. If you want it, eat it! (But also log it and track it.) :)

Nah, not really. Just becoming a habit, but I just log calories and compare with my fitbit and stop eating when I get to that daily magic number. I eat pretty much the same things at the same times. Just know that if you eat pizza, eat one or 2 slices. If you eat chips, just eat a few. Weigh every week and pay attention to…

Target has Denizen jeans by Levis that are $25-30 each and they fit great. Those were a splurge to wear to work. The rest of my jeans are from Goodwill for $5 each. I went bonkers and bought 6 pair in different sizes in a style I like and have been going through them slowly and steadily. The only downside is that you may…

Based on your answer, your priorities are out of whack with where a mature individual's should be. I am 40 and am married to the same person for 17 years and known him over 20. You sound like you are in your early 20's and more hung up on the physical side of a relationship instead of that part of a relationship that will…

I have between 40-55 left to lose. One day at a time. Just record EVERYTHING you eat and try to keep it healthy stuff and balanced. Also, get moving. :)

Could be that is what the doctor uses, too. I lose on the scale for a while, then plateau. During the plateau, I lose inches. Then I stop losing inches and start losing on the scale again and so on. So, I weigh a couple of times a month and buy new clothes once a month since my old ones don't fit anymore. :)

Don't stress about eating over the first day. You have to establish a baseline for what you usually eat. Get out and earn some calories with exercise, too, if you can. Good luck! You can do it!

I got a Fitbit pedometer for my birthday this month, about 3 weeks ago, and it keeps track of my steps, calories burned, steps climbed and even tracks sleep patterns. It syncs with myfitnesspal and it is great! It gives me the motivation to walk more than usual. I also have a home gym with a treadmill, spin bike and…

How are your clothes fitting? Can you tell a loss in inches or centimeters?
-
Total hourglass. I started at 48-40-50 and am now down to 46-36-46. As long as I shrink equally, I will be happy!

Toss those scales! Measure centimeters, then inches. When I started, I GAINED weight on the stupid scale. But, I was working out with a personal trainer and after a month of increased scale weight, but looser clothes, my scale started to drop fast. Then it plateaued and the inches starting coming off and then the scales…

Hi. I'm Michelle and I just lost my first 10 lbs. :) I am finding that each week I am finding more low-calorie, filling foods. This week's find has been Wal-Mart chicken egg rolls at 120 calories each. They have a nice balance of fat/protein/carbohydrates. (3.5 grams fat) I have been eating them for snacks or breakfast and…

I can tell in your face, too. :)
