I agree, u need to increase ur calories, even if it's just 100-200 a day. I eat around 1600 a day. I do a 45 min walk and about 15 min strength training. I have consistently lost weight every week so, for me, I know i'm doing it right. good luck

MFP allows for a deficit anyway so if u still have days where u have 1000 or more cals left ( and u do) than ur body is going to cling to anything it can (starvation mode). That is not true... That is nothing to do with low carb... That is the same reason why every diet fails... People lose commitment and focus and fall back into bad habits and that's why they put on weight. Low carb is a very effective way to lose fat and there is no reason why it can't be sustainable in the long run…

thanks heaps, yeah she said that ketones in a diabetic is not good but didn't explain it further. i have to eat a certain amount of carbs each day which i am doing, so i will monitor my protein from now on. thank you :)

THIS!! If they want to have the junk in YOUR house make them store it in their room!! as for the milk, i always make sure my milk is in the fridge and i tell ppl that the whole is for them and my kids. They may be family but they still need to respect ur rules. good luck!

WOW!! this is fantastic and i totally agree. i've just taken 2 weeks off on my "diet" and increased my cals. it worked for me, although i didn't exercise either and i feel like crap :( so next time i do this i will still exercise. Thankyou for posting this, it was a great read.

yep, u def need to INCREASE your cals. Increase by 100-200 to start with but in my experience this does the trick. good luck!

i weigh myself everyday but real weigh in is saturday. i find if i weigh everyday it keeps me on track and helps my motivation. everybody likes to do things differently, thats what makes us unique! do what helps u!! good luck!

i would say def see a physio. i had a netball injury 10 yrs ago and it was still hurting up untill the start of this yr! the pysio gave me some good exercises to do at home and now it's pretty much fine. i lose weight in my boobs first, it really sucks because i'm only a B cup!! breastfeeding took me from a D to a B and now exercise will leave me with nothing :sad: i am starting to notice a difference in my waist and hips but it has taken a looooooonnnggg time!!
