Sugar naturally occurs in milk. I don't count it as a processed sugar nor limit my intake because of it. But, you can buy unsweetened soymilk if you don't want to drink milk. But to answer your question: Horizon's Organic Lactose Free 2% Milk. Delicious. And not funky like the other lactose free milks (for those who are…

That's because you're already fit. That's a lie that it does nothing for your metabolism. Don't assume unless you're a registered dietician that has done case studies on it.

Fish, chicken, milk, eggs, natural/roasted nuts, soy anything, protein shakes, black beans, whole grains, lentils

They said the same thing about the phytoestrogens in soy but that's only if you consume an extremely large quantity of soy per day. I know plenty of ripped or extremely fit people who lift and/or run and then drink afterwards -- no man boobs. Moderation - yes. Everything is so hear-say.

I love a cold beer after an intense workout. It's not only refreshing but calming.

I've always lived by the rule: natural sugar from fruit: eat whatever. (unless you're a diabetic). table sugar: limit.

This sounds awesome.

Fast food and processed food is cheap because it's processed with additives, salt, fillers.. With all the junk they throw into it, the cheaper it is produce and also cheaper to buy. In all actuality, fruit, meat, and grains are relatively cheap. Sure if you buy brand name "health" foods it will be more expensive. But…

Subway is the same way. I typical 6 inch sub has 1000+mg of sodium. Eat a foot long and you've met your daily limit or higher.

Go see a doctor.

7. It's fun.

Agreed! I was born in Ohio and the one thing I miss is Skyline.. well, and Graeters.

Too much sugar. Synthetic bliss. Lack of veggies, fruit, lean protein, fiber that the body needs. IMO - waste of money.

I'm a big fan of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar combo. Sure it contains 14g per 1 tbls of oil but it's a good fat!

I don't think anyone can clearly give you an answer. Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating your exercise calories? Do you smoke? Medical complications? Are you pushing yourself too hard? If you're worried about it or concerned, the best bet is to talk to a doctor. Only they can give you a clear answer.

Anything from Kashi is a winner in my book.

I eat all the time. Constantly but I always try to stay within my limits and include healthy snacks.

If you really think about it, all bananas vary from size and you'll never get an exact number. I normally shoot for the 7-8" entry for a medium banana (which appears to be on the average of 105 calories).

Feel free to look at the diary as well - I'm not a true vegetarian but follow a pescatarian lifestyle (plus eggs and dairy). It's been a recent change -- so I'm always looking for ideas too so thanks to all that posted =)

Brown, wild, and black. Anything other than white (refined and/or processed).

I don't really follow a "diet" but taken on a pescatarian point of view excluding all red meat, pork, and poultry. At home, I don't but white sugar, rice, flour... etc. I think it also helps that I'm lactose intolerant (still eat cheese though). Add bicycling as a popular form of transportation. Golden.

Hipster dinosaurs! Awesome.

http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=201095 I like this one as a base and add a few things to it like avocado after baking or red sauce.

Agreed! That sounds horrible. The bottom line -- quick fix diets DO NOT WORK and horrible for your overall health.
